I was just really bored until they told me that the dress the pockets. I just sat up and shouted "wait POCKETS?!?! I don't even have pockets on my jeans and this dress does?!"
Are jeans somehow different everywhere else from where I live? (Middle Europe) Because my jeans have two front and two back pockets, I can't live without them!
Carter Pewterschmidt I would be that type of person who would wear sneakers if it's longer and suits the dress you should be comfortable not wearing heels that at the end of the day doesn't pay off and is easy to walk
At my sisters wedding last year, I was one of her bridesmaids so we had to wear heels. But right by the dance floor there was a basket of flip flops for all the girls at the party. Smartest thing I’ve ever seen 😂
That’s actually pretty normal for 15th birthday parties in Brazil and probably for quinceañeras too. I haven’t been to any weddings in Brazil though so I’m not sure about those
I like this better because when two brides do the appointment together they end up fighting or jealous of the other but this one they are so nice to each other
Ally Hancock yes I thought so too. plus they waited for each one to have their turn. It was nice of the other friend to wait and support her unconfident friend
Honestly, sneakers are way more comfortable than heels so if I see a bride wearing sneakers on her wedding it wouldnt matter I mean its her big day so.
I'm a bit paranoid, so I was thinking of secretly wearing like Vans or something at my wedding and prom so if I ever needed to run, I could. No pencil skirts or mermaid dresses either, I need full movement.
Yeah I'd be the same, even for my wedding! And if the dress is long then it'll cover the shoes anyways.. I guess my girlfriend will be the one wearing heels haha
theyre not just trainers like some old dirty running shoes lol, theyre a totally new pair of Converse (very common for modern weddings, my friend’s entire wedding party had them) and theyre even in white
fruit bat 🍒🦇 when I worked in a shoe store I had it happen more than once someone would come in and say I need the converse in a certain color... but Would need a bunch of them and have a list of sizes for a wedding party. Had a woman come in once for 16 pairs of converse for the ENTIRE wedding party the men and women.
@@livorourke2369 David Emanuel switched back and forth calling them "trainers"...but also calling them "sneakers". I loved the second dress on Alice...surprised to see someone who didn't SYTTD that everyone else clearly loved on her.
Old person? Not person 2, or David Emanuel? Not the host of the show, or the world famous wedding dress designer? He’s relegated to simply being the old dude now then?
this is the first girl who I've seen say no. And and honestly I'm so happy for her for sticking with her instincts and choices. keep those shoes they're so cute and search until you find the absolute perfect dress for you. dont let anyone else tell you otherwise
Dr Quinzel i agree! i love the idea of her wearing her converse under her dress. such a nice statement and they would make for really interesting photos 😊
I remember watching a video where a girl had been on the Irish say yes to the dress, she said that the show airs often before the wedding so its highly likely the guests will see what your going to wear before the day. She also said that she didnt actually say yes, but had said if xyz situation/ dress was different she would be saying yes. They edited out what she said and just made it look like she'd said yes when she hadnt. She also said that the shop wanted her to pay for the dress before she left the shop, even though she wasnt convinced she wanted the dress. Ive also seen a few pics online of different weddings where brides went on one of the shows and almost all of them didn't wear the dress shown on TV.
The trainers make me giggle, but she's special. I love her sticking to her footwear choice. 2nd dress is such a beautiful cut and shape and style on her. 3rd drsss was nice too
I wore white converses on my wedding day. I was so comfortable. I did the whole heel thing on all the other pre-wedding parties and I almost fell each time. Loved it x
Fran Johnson that is so cute! I'm wearing my red converse to prom and a crop top and short skirt dress. It's good to be comfortable so you can dance and have fun! It looks adorable as well!
I wore nice ballerinas. They were also barely not visible under the skirt but my feet loved it all day long. I don't wear high heels in normal life so why torturing my feets on my wedding day?
God damn it who cares if she wears sneakers to her wedding?!?! She seems like a great person and it's the 21st century. It shouldn't be unusual for her to do that.
simone. .murial. i mean i like sneakers too, i am not very girly tbh but come on its a very special day, heels are uncomfortable sure but you only get married once (not always but you get the point)
I love that she didn't bow to pressure and say yes to something that wasn't her dream dress. It's sad when you see women get talked into dresses that they aren't completely inlove with.
this is exactly why i don't wanna get married. its supposed to be ''your'' day but the second you don't follow the stereotypical rules everyone goes nuts. i haven't worn a dress for a single day in my life. i don't like them. soo why should i spend soo much money on something i don't even feel comfi in, just to make other people happy. hell no. it's her day and she should wear whatever the hell she wants
I think it's up to the people YOU choose to surround yourself with. I know for a fact that altho my mom would like it, if I were to wear sneakers at my wedding they would accept it. It is my wedding after all, it's my party. So will my friend, they will accept whatever the hell I choose to wear, otherwise they wouldn't be my friends, and would not be invited to my wedding.
In your wedding when you are literally confessing your love and MARRYING the person you love, why is it so important what you wear. Hell I'd wear my track suit.
Sadly some people lose sight of what coming together in marriage is all about and it becomes a big chance to show off and be the centre of attention 🙇♀️ I don't want to get married but if I did, it would be a tiny registry office thing in nice but comfortable clothes and then down the local pub for a few beers with close family and friends. That's it.
My sister in law wore a beautiful long classical dress and beige vans & looked absolutely amazing (it was even cuter when you saw that my brother wore black vans so they matched)
A few years ago, I was in a friend from high school's wedding - the groomsmen wore black converse, bride wore white glitter cons, and we bridesmaids wore glitter converse (two wore black, i found red glitter cons!!!) Totally epic. And I Still tripped on the way up the steps 😂
I don’t get why it’s a big deal. It’s her wedding, her choice, her life. It shouldn’t be a problem. But if I were to wear flats I would go with a formal shoe.
I've worn Converse to church and it was the best decision ever. Whole day in heels would have killed me and my feet. We allowed guests to wear them too. It was fun! So many cool pictures of happy people in sneakers.
DON'T TAKE YOUR WHOLE FAMILY DRESS SHOPPING Take your mother, sisters, and maid of honour. You don't need all of your aunts and cousins there too. That's what the wedding is for.
I am glad these ladies have each other and their families for support. I did not see the long version, but I hope the girls are each other's Maid of Honor.
Personally, I would be so nervous wearing heels just for the fact that I never wear them and I would be so worried about tripping. Though if I wore them, I would rather have a long dress to cover them. When she was wearing the shorter dress, she looked like a little girl that was forced into a dress as opposed to a woman ready to get married.
Alice is really lucky to have amazing best friends, a mother and a sister to help her choose the best wedding dress that fits for her. She really looks stunning for the wedding dress they choose. Congrats to you and to your best friend.
I swear I have never seen such an understanding and complimenting family and friends on this show ever. Noone was being rude or jealous or shady. Rare 😂
Wow I am really surprised she didn't say yes to the last dress! I really really liked it and thought she looked amazing in it! And I don't see a problem with the trainers/sneakers at all. I changed out of my heels into a little pair of canvas ones that I blinged up and used lace and ribbon for the shoelaces and danced the night away in them! I had fun, they were cute, and my feet were very happy! If it's the brides personality then let her do it! :). Oh and I got tons of compliments on my cute little shoes!
I like how people freaking out about the bride using her converse shoes while in my country, a lot of celebrity already did that and people has been supporting and loving it
