Thanks so much for this video, it saved me buying a new printer! I had recently bought a genuine waste toner box for my for my Brother MFC-9335CDW printer and it worked very intermittently with the message saying the waste toner being full (switching the printer power button off/on seemed to clear the message for a short period of time), until the message never disappeared after two weeks of use, which meant I could no longer print. The two plates were already touching together when opened the first cover, so problem there. The second cover was not loose or moving, but I decided to tighten the screw really tight and this WORKED! Please note that after doing this and re-installing the waste box immediately, the printer did not detect it initially and the message still appeared, but after coming back about 12 hours later, the printer has decided to recognise the waste box and I have not had a problem ever since. TL;DR: Tighten the second cover's screw really tight!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! My Brother finally reached a point where I could not print at all with the dumb error even after I cleaned out the WT box. And this finally fixed it!!!
Thank you so much for making this video. After I remanufactured the contacts on the side of the newly purchased genuine waste toner cartridge, I was running again MFC-L3750cdw. Simply turning the screw in my case was not enough, but by removing the metal part under the side plastic shield and giving it a small bend and reassembling ensured it made contact reliably.
very tanks for this video , this yes help , the contact of toner residual and print is dirty , only clean contact of thoner residual and good , very thanks
I followed the other videos for resetting WT Box but it did not work. Now, I know the principle of it. I followed your instruction and bend that metal sheet a little bit to increase the contact force at that contact point. It is fixed. Thank you!
Tried this and also replaced the waste toner box but still am getting the error. Also, when I power cycle the unit I get a "paper jam" error with no jam. I open the lid, then close it and it clears the paper jam error but that is when the no waste toner error pops up and stays on. Any suggestions?
Have you opened the back door and also lifted out the toner/drums to be 100% sure there is no paper jam? As for the constant replace waste, that does not sound good, could be other issues. Try a Brother service agent.
