We had this this played at mommas funeral, it was one of her favorites.. God bless her, she is the one place she lived her whole life to get to... I do have a special prayer request this morning... My sister is in the critical care unit fighting for her life, she has terminal cancer and she went septic, I pray for a miracle but also I pray for peace with whatever God decides, so if you could, please just send up a prayer for her... My 1st time to hear this... SOOOO MOVING & BEAUTIFUL, found by chance & I'm in tears as it's breaking my heart... it's so true! If it wasn't for God SAVING me as a child from a tragic accident killing my mother & grandmother, then SAVING MY SOUL as a young women who knows where I would have been. We have an elderly man at our church who sings this song. His voice is old and rough, but amazing. We had soldiers coming to our church on Sunday nights before the pandemic and the first time he got up to sing it as a special, I was so worried. I was afraid this bunch of young soldiers would not listen to him and be disrespectful. To my amazement, they all sat quietly and listened well. I think I've even seen tears in the eyes of some. When he is finished singing they all applauded him. I was very proud of them all.

I listen to the lighthouse almost everyday. I am one of 12 and we went to a country church where my Mother and us kids would sing but my Mother sang this a lot near the end of her life She passed in 1977 and this is very comforting. God Bless you all

Fantastic lyrics, to the mind of this old Navy vet. All the singers did great, but I have to say that Bradley sounds as much like a cowboy western guy as he does a gospel singer...lol. and I love country-western music.

All 4 of these guys are amazingly talented and their blend and harmonies are second to none. Bradley Walker has one of the best gospel/bluegrass voices I have ever heard.

Great song and great musicians. My church choir sang this so much. Also my father loved it and sang with the choir. He passed away in 1996. Feels like yesterday still. Happy Father's Day Daddy 2022. I miss you so much. Thanks for this great rendition. Brings tears to my eyes.
