Fantastic overhaul. I have a rxtx 260. Its in good condition but this episode has given me some ideas on what I can do to make it look better on the inside. I love these types of videos.

Do you ever work on the Sea Doos with suspension (iS/aS)? I love the way it rides but it seems like doing anything to it is a giant PITA. I’m trying to change the oil and it looks like the entire top deck needs removal just for the oil filter.

As Chris would say, good job uncle very nice. I've got two matching GTX155's, same gen as this 260 - 110 hours each. Apart from water in the hull is there any tell-tale signs of a carbon seal taking a dump? Love the content buddy.

Thanks for the support. Sometimes leave a black solid line in the hull. But easiest to tell is when you see water spraying around back there.

I have a 1997 GTI with the 717 2 stroke I just purchased. The ski has been garage kept most it’s life and looks as such. I want the engine and pump gone thru by a true expert to build it into an amazing sleeper that still holds its looks as a classic. Can you guys help?

So hopefully you can help. I had to swap out my ecu on a 2019 rxtx 300,and the hours go with it. So now the ski shows 11 hours, but really has 81. There has got to be a way to get the hours to show correctly? Im trying to sell it and this obviously concerns people that it shows such low hours, even if I tell them what happened. Help!

Great Video, so what's the "Back Story" of this 260? How many Hours were on it? Were the Engine Mounts Broken?

The ski had cavitation really bad, which made it slow out the hole. Top end speed had dropped. 89 hours on it when it was brought in. Found out the motor mounts were broken when it was brought in.

I hate seeing people use impact guns to torque shit down like the Engine mounts, exactly why i do my own work, i don't even trust the dealership anymore after finding multiple stripped nuts.
