INGREDIENTS
2 ears of corn
10g butter
A
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 tablespoon sugar
1/2 tablespoon mirin
PREPARATION
1. Cut each ear of corn into thirds.
2. Insert a toothpick into the kernels, then press with your fingers to remove the kernels in connected strips.
3. Bring a pot of water to a boil, add salt (not listed in ingredients, as needed), and boil the kernels from step 2 for about 2 minutes. Drain the water.
4. In a frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat, add the boiled corn kernels, and cook until they are nicely browned.
5. Add A, and cook until the sauce coats the corn well.
