ty Tom, i have made rice in my ipot, 2 times, 2 fails, but still eatable. Third time should be awesome, following ur way. Yes, healthy, 1 meal at a time. I been following Chef AJ & u guys, nearly 5 yrs now, tomorrow will be my 5y2m mark, of getting healthy & losing & maintaining 100 lb lost.xo
Outstanding job Tom!!!! I do this 99% identical to his method, except I’ve been doing 16 min instead of 15 min. I’ll be going for 15 min on my next batch! Tom’s demo was fantastic!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Tom; a thousand thanks for this excellent video! My brown rice always comes out clumpy and sticky; I'm excited to try your method. Please thank Tami for giving us some personal time with you. So happy I found you guys; stay well.
PERFECT BROWN RICE!! Tom, thank you for this video. I've been cooking brown rice in my instant pot for awhile and it's generally hit or miss. With your recipe he texture is a perfect 10. Thank you!!
I tried this method with short grain brown rice and it turned out amazing. ❤❤❤ this recipe. All other Instant Pot methods for brown rice, have failed for me in the past, but not this one. I was skeptical, but it turned out sooo good! Thanks a million Tom.
We buy our organic rice at Costco. Lundberg is another good brand that is grown in CA and "Cleaner" in regard to contaminants. It can be found across the country in various Grocery stores and Whole foods.
🎉🎉🎉 great demonstration Tom. I'm scared of my instant pot so thank you I'm more scared of the instructions on how to use it it's hard to understand😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for this great video- you cracked the code for brown rice. I parted with my Instant Pot pressure cooker because I got a second one made by Crockpot… I think the two machines cook differently so now I’m thinking of picking up another instant pot just for brown rice
Why don't you use the water you wash rice with for the plants. I always save the water I wash my vegetables and lentils with to water plants, Water is scarce, Just a thought shared.
Great demonstration, short and to the point. Thank you so much. What storage containers are those. I tried finding them on your Amazon shop. I didn't see them.
Tom here... I would only try that in the 3 qt. instant pot. I have made a 4 cup batch in the 3 qt. I kept the time the same (15 min) and it came out perfect. I do not believe a 1 cup cook would work at all well in a 6 qt. pressure cooker, too spread out, you may wind up with scorched rice. If you have a 3 qt. try it and see what happens.
