Especially for older or larger plants, I find it easier to maintain if you start growing water roots in just plain water first. It’s easier to keep an eye on those shedding roots. I find that if you change the water daily the first three days, then once a week, for about 2-3 weeks, many plants will be ready for the new semi-hydro substrate. I’ve converted 90% of my collection this way and I haven’t lost any, including the little miss fuzzy Warocqueanum.

Hi. Thanks for the video. Did you use HB101 because of the transplant, do you then go to nutrients. I was one of the people who asked about the algae as yours was one of the first videos I watched on how to get rid of it. To be honest I still struggle to understand HB101

Question: when you fertilizer your Hoyas. What numbers are good 9 -3 -6 or 10 -10 -10. Thank you love your channel dear.
