Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoyed watching Scott and I catch a few and lose a few haha. Definitely more of a simple video but just trying to get videos out to you guys more often, hopefully you like it! Go Outdoors and have fun.
Im not a fly fisher, but I could be. Im used to plastics and crank baits, spinners and spoons etc., and the old stand by..live bait. When I go trout fishing in the great lake tributaries and beaches, I use roe sacks. My favorite is steelhead or rainbow, caught my fair share of browns of the beach using floater roe sacks...in april, still ice on shore. Just open where small creeks and rivers empty in the lake. Salmon in the fall, the odd brown to. Good luck to ya
That’s awesome man!! Yes it’s a totally different story here in NS compared to Ontario from what I understand. There’s definitely lots of great fishing to be had, but with such a small province like NS comes extra pressure from lots of types of fishermen. I wouldn’t go off of us for reference on size of brown trout though, there are lots of guys that hook into way bigger ones than us! Even the small ones are fun though, especially on a fly rod! I highly recommend trying it out some time! Thanks for the comments!
Biggest brown I caught on shores of lake Ontario 13lbs...I expected they would be bigger down there...across all species....but out of all the shows I watch on RU-vid, not what I see. I wonder if its because of commercial fishing? When I search sport fishing down there, it doesn't get the best promotion. I wonder that they dont like it because it cuts into commercial fishing? I dont know. But curious what expect if I moved down there?
