Brown Undergraduate Education: The Research Experience 

For many students, when they're doing research, it's the first time they get that spark. Sometimes, that's the spark that really ignites what it means to be a biologist or what it might mean to work into the field of science at all.
The process of research is very different from class work. And it's something that I enjoy a lot more. You're really able to ask these big questions, and think about these complex biological puzzles, and figure out different ways to approach it.
