I've just bought a 725 S 30" and so far so good. It feels a lot more responsive on ESP targets than my previous two sporters (CG Summit 32"/Fabarm Elos Allsport 32"). It has a couple of pro balance stock weights just to bring it back to the hinge pin. Thanks for the positive review Lloyd, keep 'em rolling.👍
Good Vid Llyod, I bought a 725s a couple of months back and love it. I'm just getting back into clay shooting after a long break, the 725s was the best "feeling" gun for me in the shop, I went to a clay ground and tried one, hit most of what I shot at, so bought a brand new one on my way home.
Great video Lloyd, thanks! Just ordered a 525 Sporter Laminate in 32 inch. Super excited for it, looks beautiful to me. Tried a 725 pro sport but the pistol grip and super thicc stock didn't do it for me
On one hand Trap shooter like bigger and heavier Stocks. As well as larger Palm Swells. But shooter thats more into sporting than Trap. Then Lighter rear stock and smaller Palm swell is better. So its best for a shooter to make sure which discipline he will focus more on. And which design suits his build ans style. Another person perfect fit could be completely wrong for another shooter.
Since you already did a very short vid on the B725S last year I was hoping for a more in-depth review this time. Still, I like your YT channel very much and I’m always looking forward to the next vid. Just one question ..lf you had to chose between the B725S and the B525SL, which one would you pick? 😇
I am relaint on Browning supplying the gun, and since they havent as yet, this is as much as I could do. If it were me, I would go 525 as I have a particular use case for a second gun which the 525 fits. If only having the one gun I would say you need to shoot both and decide which one suits your style.
Hi I’ve got 525sl currently and it’s a great gun,but the the lacquer has turned a orange colour, met someone else who’s SL has done the same,I’ve been thinking of swapping to 725s,I’m a big guy, what’s your thoughts on 525sl vs 725s???
Depends what you want from a gun. The ultra is just a 525 with all the bells and whistles, but then the ProSport is a 725 with all the bells and whistles. The 2 guns handle differently and I cant tell you which one you will like, Only you can say that once you have tried them.
@@lloydyp thanks ,I shoot a 725 s1 at present, I do like the ultra xs and have handled one ,but have only put 4 carts through it , I wasn't overly keen on the prosport , at this price point for the b725s I might be tempted to try one ,at least I could use my teague chokes as inv ds👍
Available in 28" too.........But the big question is whats the fundamental difference between this and the Pro Sport....? I can't see any.....? Lloyd.....?
Well, my situation is different, I bougth 3 monts ago a B725 S and, for me, the best one I had, I'm selling a Beretta 686 sporting because it's unconfortable for me, I have the same opinion about that like your B725 S1, 😄 . Regards from South of Spain. 👌
Can anyone give me a comparison between this and the Ultra XS pro? Have had a round of clays with the XS pro and really liked it, but not shot this yet. Not sure I need all the bells and whistles that come with the XS, and this just looks like a more simplified version, anyone owned or shot both?
@@lloydyp yes I'm aware this is a 725 and the XS Pro is a 525, just wanting a comparison. I like how the XS Pro shoots, does the 725s shoot as well? It's less money with not so many bells and whistles.
Hey Lloyd, In Australia these are $4,800, pro sports are $5,300, 694's are $7,800 and summits are $7,000. Would the best buy be the pro sport or is the 725s for $500 less still a good option? (assuming both fit equally).
Pro sport gives you a lot of accessories in the box to fit and balance the gun, other than that it’s the same gun. I guess it depends if you like the balance and fit out of the box.
@@lloydyp can't disagree there. I've had a 525 forever now and looking for an upgrade, whilst this certainly would be that, I was hoping for abit prettier.
