BAR's are notorious for having tight tolerance chambers. My reloads need to be practice cycled to insure reliability. I didn't do that on this day.

@@davestrohmeyer-saddleupsho8009 I 'spose the tight chamber helps with accuracy, especially with factory loads. Maybe another one-eighth turn on the size die might help. Or do you think it's a COAL issue?

​@@davestrohmeyer-saddleupsho8009 Never had an issue with a reload in my gas guns going into battery fully that passed a SAAMI minimum specifications cartridge checker. Brass that don't pass that minimum spec but pass a headspace case gauge go into the range practice pile. Those that fail both go into the scrap pile/trash. It's a tool worth having as an extra step on stuff you can't afford issues on.

Will do, if I can figure out it's quirks with handloads. New dies are ordered.
