Browning BAR Mark 3 30-06 introduction 

I have owned a BAR in 30 06 for over 40 years. Have killed a lot of deer with it. It is very accurate for a hunting rifle. Have shot groups that were one hole.

Would been nice to see the target results. I've heard those guns are sub MOA. Owned 3 of the older version Safari Grade I's. Accuracy was ok. I still prefer the the old hump back versions although this is a gorgeous rifle. Now get back to work selling cars.

i have a similar version purchased in 1997 7mm mag excellent deer gun.

Imagine that in .300 Win Mag. They do offer that caliber in the Mark III.

WOW! That is one beautiful Browning 30-06 you got there, Mr. Ferguson. My late Dad owned a Winchester 30-06 1964 series bought at Clark Air Base , Philippines and now a collectors item which he gave to my brother.

I own one, excellent weapon, very accurate, dropped 2 whitetails the first week I owned it, have owned 6 06s and this oneby far the best

I used to also own Mk3 in .30-06. Very pleasant recoil despite having only 3kg / 6.5 pds. And so boringly reliable.

I own a mint Belgium made 1972 Grade 4 in .270. Love that rifle.

This is the best hog hunting rifle for the small body frame hunters using 243win or 6mm creedmoor calibres. Taking follow up shots without lifting your eyes away from your gun sight(target)

My happy day of owning a BAR was trading it in. What a pain in the rear end. Why? The 2 piece stock does reduce accuracy. It doesn't drive tacks! The bolt securing the forestock to the barrel NEVER REPEATS. Therefore lining up a scope after cleaning is mandatory. It will be off a lot. The bumper surrounding the piston rid WILL separate at some point jamming the Floorplate half open. NOW TRY TO REMOVE THE MAGAZINE. Good luck. The end of the small bolt will accumulate powder residue and if not cleaned out, it will lock the piston rod. The accuracy is at very best 1.3 of a minute with hand loads ON A LEAD SLED. Yes everyone will say "You own a Browning Bar"? What a sick feeling...

I'm just sitting here.....in hedonistic America....complaining about everything and doing absolutely nothing! LOL!

I like the made in Belgium guns better
