The Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant team just completed the largest scope of work on the turbine deck since original construction. All three of Unit 2's massive low-pressure turbines were safely replaced and upgraded, including new instrumentation. The project adds more than 7 megawatts to Unit 2's electrical output, providing even more low-cost, carbon-free power to the people we serve for decades to come.
