Powered up! We're investing in our carbon-free nuclear fleet to deliver more low-cost, reliable power to the Valley. Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant's Unit 3 is now producing an additional 155 megawatts thanks to upgrades called the Extended Power Uprate. Once the same upgrades are completed on the remaining two units, the plant will add 465 megawatts of additional base load generation - enough energy to supply 280,000 homes in the Valley. When all the upgrades are completed, Browns Ferry will be capable of generating more than 3,700 megawatts, enough to power over 2.1 million homes, manufacturing plants, and businesses. #nuclearpower
