Pretty much, The field marshals run on only diesel while the tractors with hot bulbs on the front like the older Lanzs and the Ursa are multifuel and can pretty much run on anything. gasoline/petrol, diesel, kerosene I was even told they could run on straight crude oil but I've never seen that and you can probably even say motor oil might work as well.
@@wzr3293 Even though these were sold in the USA I don't have that kind of money and being the tractors were made and imported from Germany parts my be expensive or impossible to find
Its a challenge for sure unless your part of the group of owners that generally band together and help each other out sourcing parts and techniques, but it is very doable and rewarding.
