I need a clutch puller tool i believe. I have a 2016 outlander xmr 570 and I would like to change out my primary for a cvtech primary and put a new secondary spring on
Great video, I just bought my first Commander X and I'm planning on doing the bulk of the maint myself. It would be a giant pain to work on this belt in the field. I'm guessing there has to be a wear schedule to be on the look out for undue wear. Thanks again for taking the time to record your repair.
i dont mean to be so offtopic but does anybody know of a method to log back into an Instagram account? I was stupid lost the login password. I love any tricks you can offer me.
@Ruben Gannon i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Would you recommend using a maverick belt on a 2012 800 commander. I have heard the maverick is a stronger / longer lasting belt in the same dimensions. True or false. Please explain. Thanks
my drive belt broke yesterday so i went and bought a new one to put into it but i have a underbody skid plate on my commander, is there any other way to get at those bolts under the cvt without taking the skid plate off? A buddy of mine recommended drilling a whole in the plate so i could have easy access to it in the future and then just bolt on another piece of aluminum where we drilled the whole for the time i wasnt using it, would u recomend that?
i have a commander 1000 and run 32 silverbacks. smoked one belt already and plan to go with your clutch setup. only problem is i ride on the road and dont want to lose all my top speed. just with the 32s i can only go 40mph on the road. i can do 70 with stock tires. plan on selling the stock tires and running 31" super swampers on the road. i know you can give me more low end for those tires but can you give me more top end? it looks dumb lifted up with stock tires so i can run fast on the road.
This comment is for 1badgriz700.... why the fuck would you spend that kind of money for 32" tires that are made for off road use, to run them on the road? Buy a car to drive it on pavement........ duh
