Bruce Almighty - On the surface a film about a man’s struggle with selfish goals, who’s own lack of
accountability leads him straight to God, where he learns the value of becoming a good, selfless
person and finds happiness in helping others and bringing joy to the world. But under the surface
lies a far more visceral lesson on the fundamental nature of happiness.
Exploring how a person can so readily shackle their own potential for happiness within a prison of their own mind as they blame everyone but themselves for their shortcomings. How selfish, narcissistic goals can blind you to everything you have to be grateful for in life, and how getting what we want won’t always make us happy. As we embark on our journey into Bruce Almighty we face a great question; If we were given the power of a God, would you have what it takes to find true happiness?
