This home ab workout for a 6 pack is quick and simple but definitely not easy. The goal is for you to perform it consistently for the next 22 days. That said, we can never talk about getting abs without at least addressing the all important nutrition aspect of the equation and it is here that Bruce Lee’s diet had some key points that you will want to try and copy.
So before we get into the specific ab exercises in the bruce lee ab workout you have to mention the three things that he did with his nutrition that will help you to get your abs showing in just the next 22 days. The first is to try and abstain or at least cut down your alcohol consumption. People often consume too many empty liquid calories that put on body fat and conceal their abs.
Next, it will help to limit your consumption or all together avoid eating sugars and fried foods for the next 3 weeks. Even just a short period of time is enough to help establish a habit that you can take with you well beyond this period to get locked in and show off that ripped 6 pack once and for all.
Lastly, don’t avoid carbs in your diet for a 6 pack. They are too hard to keep out forever and your long term success will depend on learning how to live with them not eliminate them entirely.
For the specific Bruce Lee Ab Workout, the exercise sequence looks like this:
Standing Elbow Twists - 25 reps each side or until exhaustion
Frog Kicks - 25 reps or until exhaustion
Single Leg Raises - 25 reps each side or until exhaustion
Seated Elbow to Knee Tucks - 25 reps each side or until exhaustion
Sit-Ups - 25 reps or until exhaustion
Dragon Flags or Modified Dragon Flags - 1 minute rest pause fashion.
The key to getting a six pack like Bruce Lee is going to be by increasing your core strength and by regularly performing the same ab routine that he did. Now that you have a game plan for what ab exercises you need to perform to hit your upper, lower abs and obliques you just have to find a way to get consistent.
In order to get 6 pack abs you have to know how to sequence your abs workouts as well. Bruce Lee knew how to do this well. He stacked the most difficult ab exercises towards the front of the workout and saved the easier ab exercises for when he was more fatigued. You can do the same thing, which will help you to start carving our your six pack fast.
The 22 day period is critical for developing a habit. Many times, we stop right at the point when we are closest to ingraining a new pattern of behavior. If you stick with this ab workout for just 3 weeks you will likely be shocked at how much more regular a part of your exercise routine this will become.

When I first watched this video about 40 days ago, I was under the foolish impression that if I did this religiously for 22 consecutive days I'd have shredded abs. It was that far out there, I'm 6 foot and 160 pounds so it's not like I needed a major body change. Around day 18 I really noticed abs when I'd flex or right after a work out, but not consistently through the day. Thats when it really hit me, the 22 days shows commitment to a lifestyle change. The results won't be there in less than a month, but the mindset is. The mindset and focus is what leads to the body transformation.

You’re dead right Tate. I started one of Jeff’s 22 day abs challenge back in April after being a bit half assed about abs for years. Fast forward to now and I really hate missing a solid abs session each day thanks to that initial mindset change the 22 day challenge provided me with. I’ve lost 6 kgs, can see my 6 pack and my core is super strong all because of a mindset change. Bloody fantastic!

@Simz Zxy 6 min is more of a lower abs workout as you can see in the title, but the thing is, it is a workout that mainly focuses on just burning the fat but,on the other hand in the 7 min workout focuses more on the athletic part(more than the 6 min workout) as you bring some other complex and different exercises so it's your choice which one to choose depending on what your training for

Usually people wont achieve dragon flags just like that or with the exercises he listed above. I trained for dragonflags doing progressions twice a week for 2 months until I can do them now. Now I do 3 sets of 12 dragon flags twice a week.

I am 19 days into this and I couldn’t be more excited about the results. To be fair, I started out with quite a bit of belly fat. In the time since I started this work out I start I’ve dropped a pant size, watched my belly shrink, and can feel rock hard ab muscles growing bigger and bigger underneath my remaining belly fat. It was really hard to begin. In fact, if I didn’t condition myself with another Ab work out for a few weeks first I don’t think I could have done it. Once I was able to get going it was very effective.

These are accurate workouts that Sijo Bruce Lee did do. Don’t forget he also did about 6-8 hours of martial arts training a day, trampoline work and about 20-30 min of fast paced cardio. He was at top human condition for sure before his passing away, rip Sijo 🙏🏼

Awesome video as always Jeff. I am 54 years old and I decided at 53 years old, I was going to push myself to do Dragon flags. I started with two and within a week and a half I was able to do 10. I am very proud of the fact that I am the age I am and can now do 15 of these. I couldn't do these when I was in my twenties!! Thanks for another superb video.

I just wanted to say... THANKS! This man is the first one who teaches me how to train right just by watching and listening. I did so much workouts over the last two years on a daily basis and always wondered why there isnt more gain... especialy the abs didnt pop very good. After watching a lot of videos on this Channel and learning everything about the right breathing, contraction, speed, form etc while doing a workout, i mastered to get more gain in six weeks than getting over a half year before that! Everything on this channel worked for me. The workouts are not very different from those i did before, but Jeff is in charge to tell you exactly how u have to do them! Very nice, since following your channel years ago I've seen so many different ways to get activation of my abdominals. I used to hate working abs, over time it got easier! Changing up the routine as well as time and reps kept it difficult enough for me to keep it interesting, challenging myself everytime and working til failure. Thanks again Jeff! Its wierd that you ALWAYS got my workout to its greatest! Doesnt matter if im getting injury, you got the solution uploaded the same day... I liked that you focused on the idea it's not All-or-Nothing. Break things up in smaller parts. The cutting back on alcohol and eating also helped motivate me as opposed NO alcohol, NO bad food. There IS value in all the "wins" that are between Here and There.

Thank bro! I just watched a few of Bruce's old clips and just a like a kid after watching a martial arts movies I was up kicking and screaming like an idiot. Mind you I did get inspired by him once more and I just tried this routine of yours. Needless to say my abs and whole core was burning and I was sweating like a pig. Another great workout, cheers.

Google doesn't need to, NASA can afford it. They get $60.2 million a day in funding from extorted tax cattle. They're good at wasting funding, this is just yet another suggestion for THEIR consideration.

tried this yesterday. Got to dragon flags and couldn't do them. Was spent, the sit ups killed me. Did them with my feet behind my weight bench instead tucked under it. What crazy difference in my sit up. Felt it so much more in my abs it was crazy. Barely able to do 25 with small breaks. Going to do it again tonight. See where I land on dragon flag this time.

Guys we all have different genetic orders ... So don't compare yourself with other's growth 22 days is not applicable for all But consistency will definitely 🔥

22 days is what builds consistency. 18 days is the minimum to form a habit, 66 days on average, 254 day the longest. 22 days get past that 18 day 1/3 of the way to 66 days.

Popped back to say I finished up the 22 days and it does get a little bit easier but I'm still feeling it, I've been doing Jeffs Ab routines daily for over 6 months now and this one is the hardest by far before even doing the Dragon Flag. I took a couple of days away from this routine but I'm back into another 22 day cycle of it now

@@ralphorlatei6760 since I started training I have that... Maybe it's because of tennis? It is becoming problematic because I think it limits my pullups.... In any case, jeff has barely any video adressing how to correct imbalances in general. Of course I should add more volume to that lagging area, but it'd be nice for him showing how to incorporate that within a program.

Mercy NZ I finished the 22 days last week. While I don’t have Bruce lee abs, I think I have better abs than before and better posture. I think I will incorporate these exercises in future workouts.

I just tried this. After the first set I felt this workout was way too easy. By the time I got to the end of sit-ups though, I genuinely could not do a single sit up anymore, even with a bit of rest. I couldn’t even do another sit-up, forget dragon flies ROFL! I’ve been working out for 3 and years so when I say this workout got tough FAST i MEAN IT.

When I do the frog kick, I seem to be pivoting on my tail bone. It doesn't hurt much but am I doing it wrong to experience pressure on my tail bone?

I saw some Bruce Lee quotes so let me give another: "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced 1 kick 10,000 times." This shows that you should focus on one goal and perfect it, not just try to do everything a little bit. On second thought Bruce Lee probably did 10,000 kicks 10,000 times lol.

I've been using a version of this workout daily for about the last 4 weeks. I can't do dragon flags because my hands aren't working properly, so I've been doing a hollow body hold instead. The workout is definitely easier now than it was when I started, but the sheer volume of work is a lot to repeat daily for an extended period. Maybe it's just me. Thank you either way.

I just completed my 22nd day yesterday. My abs got a bit more visible but the biggest change was a noticeable improvement in core strength. I'm gonna keep these moves in my training, not every day though.

Great Ab Routine. I will be 79 next month but I will be starting this routine immediately. Because of an accident I have gained weight and have not been able to train. I will start slow but I am determined to get my fitness and abs back. Twenty two days will fly by.
