Bruce was only 130 lbs, I’m not an expert on this topic but I’m sure size does matter when it comes to fighting, that’s a reason why they have weight divisions in combat sports

If its a boxing match with boxing rules then Mike Tyson has a great chance at winning. Although in a fight anything can happen, 1 punch in the right spot can end a fight then and there. If Bruce Lee and Mike Tyson fight with there being 0 rules, we are talking a real fight , no holds barred situation, Bruce Lee has an extreme chance of being the victor. Bruce could punch, kick, grapple, he did it all, plus he had immense power behind all those kicks, punches etc. Bruce Leee was in insane top tier olymoic athlete physical conditioning, perhaps even more so, he was insanely fast, as long as he didn't let Tyson get in close, he could just keep evading and wear Tyson out, then go in for tt quick finish. Very sad that Bruce died at his young age, it would have been insane to see how far he could have pushed himself and grown, i imagjne he would have forever learned new martial art skills of use for real situations, along with getting into even better physical condition. If I could go travel to when Bruce was alive, I would gice him skme advice, tell himntk take 1 day off per week from training so his body could recover, or at the least just do some cardio and nothing else, other than perhaps stretching and such as that's fine to do daily, also to get adequate sleep in , I believe he didnt sleep all that much and for as much as he did, he absolutely needed adequate sleep. I would also tell him to eat more, lots of protein via meat, before ne died he had dropped a significant amount of weight and in a short time span, his wife linda stayed that be was solely drinking shakes that he mixed up due to convenience and time constraints. The man quite literaly worked himself to death.

The differences is that if he was going to fight Mike Tyson with just his fists that the advantage would be to Mike because Mike has the speed he moves around he take it he could take a punch and then he could deliver a deadly blow if Bruce Lee was able to use his feet, then I don’t know exactlyI don’t know how hard when he throws a kick. I don’t know that it’s never been measured as far as I know and if you could kick kick, that’s stronger than punch could be then Bruce Lee might have the advantage, but nobody ever really know.

“Bruce Lee could take on any weight class”??? There’s no evidence he was ever in a real fight. So that’s an opinion but stated like a fact. Getting in a skirmish with stunt double theatrical extras doesn’t count as a real fight either. And punching a heavy bag that doesn’t punch back is also not a fight. I wouldn’t want to fight him. But I would bet money against Bruce Lee in a fight against almost any professional fighter and any style and any weight class.

Force matters. Force is a product of mass and acceleration. So size does matter. So does speed.

Look Bruce Lee was just not a real fighter. He had great accomplishments as an actor and a martial artists, but most boxers in any division would have flattened him, because despite being strong and fast, he was not a very big guy... He emphasized speed over power and most of his moves he'd practiced for movies, which meant they landed safer. Martial arts demonstrations are not a good gauge of a person's power. Now could Bruce Lee kick a lot of regular people's asses? Most likely... Definitely not Mike Tyson or any boxers cut from that same cloth, they're worlds apart in terms of abilities that actually work. Best Bruce could do is step on Mike's Toes in the ring. In a fight where you can kick and stuff, yeah he might be a little annoying to deal with. In the ring with regulations/stipulations, there's no way that he could win. No disrespect to Bruce Lee, love all his work, but people need to get real. He was extremely good at what he did, but he was not a fighter, if he were, he wouldn't have been an actor first and foremost. RIP Bruce, you were always fantastic on screen, not trying to disrespect a guy's legacy.
