ive watched this video so many times, it never gets old. ive seen the boss so many times, and he never gets old. number 1 entertainer. so much i can say about this guy but it would take more than 500 characters hahaha
Wish Id seen Bruce on the BITU tour but was too young but glad I started on the Tunnel of Love tour. Been listening and watching ever since. Great performer and the energy levels are unbelievable 👏 ❤
gotta love bruce and the estreeters hamming it up for the audience. some bands think they're too cool for the crowd, when you see a springsteen show you're part of the show too. long live bruce and the band. looking forward to seeing you again in 2013.
Liz Lorman Yes! Where did you get it? This was a CLASSIC concert...wish he would release it. Seems like he did "Cadillac Ranch" and other rarities, not to mention Garry was full of action...love seeing that!
He did quite a bit in the early years through the BitUSA tour. From what I've read, he is your typical "reserved", quiet bass player who is content to keep the beat in the background. Stevie was incredibly active on stage and when he left to solo during the 80s, I think Garry stepped up a bit.
My 1st concert, amnazing day, was right at the front, no pits in those days, werent even allowered to take in our camera. just memories and a tshirt to remeber it by. xx
Great !!! The boss !!! I go to see him in 2 days to Paris :) It's the 4eme live of Springsteen that I see :D The first is in 1987 !!! twenty years, argggh I'm old !!! (hum...my english is very bad ;) You know what ? I'm happy !!!
:D agreed!! ...@tim3bandit57 is the funniest!! Love this one...watch it a lot!! ☺ And...@TheSoulCrusader Ú r sooo right- Bruce can always get me outta α "mood" and Happy again!! Wish I could get these downloaded. . . BRUCE and Band...Come TOUR again!!
I've seen many video clips of famous screw up the words to their own songs. If they did it all the time it would be a problem but occasionally I don't think it's a big deal.
Yet another awesome performance from Bruce and the band...with the exception of Patti, who always seemed to look like she thought she really added something special by slapping a tambourine.
Oh + huge t/y 2 weirdcritter-postin this! Any other "classics" like it? (how 2 'search' 4 sum-1's posted vid's? After seein BRUCE again (09 tour-& omG-IN PERSON after show, got "autograph"! Can't get enuf! "jukesfan" posted some vid's of that concert-but idk how 2 find specific like that? Thx any1 who can help w/how 2 ? ps-"Hyde Park" Concert (6/09) is an awesome DVD! Thx again!! ☺
Who cares, anyway? There have been times when he has briefly "forgotten" (when you have a catalog of over 400 songs, some you haven't sung in over 30 years on stage..it happens), and he laughs, recovers quickly, etc. He uses a teleprompter now JUST in case..not uncommon at all for artists with an extensive catalog and breadth of career. Of course, when you move as much as he does...so what?
After watching him TRY to dance at 2:36 and looking like he's having convulsions, I have to say either take dancing lessons or stick to singing Springteen...truly painful to watch!
And that would be because he is deliberately dancing badly not to mention it has a funky, raunchy sort of beat...not the sort of thing you dance "nicely" to. Try "Spill the Wine" from Melbourne to see him dance. He isn't the best when dancing and jokes about it, but this is truly just for FUN!
