"You Mean So Much to Me" is a song written by Bruce Springsteen in 1971 and performed by The Bruce Springsteen Band. It was covered by Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes on their 1976 album "I Don't Want to Go Home". This version was recorded on July 31, 1973 at My Father’s Place, Roslyn, NY, USA, during the "Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J." Tour with the E Street Band (Clarence Clemons, Danny Federici, Vini Lopez and David Sancious). It was the first of two shows, double bill, with Springsteen and band headlining and Nashville-based country singer-songwriter Alex Harvey on the undercard. Opening of a sellout, three-night (six-show) residency.
