I think they will taste similar. It's a complex flavor... Nothing like a traditional white fleshed dragon fruit. I hope your plant fruits soon!

Hi Paul how are you ? Nice your videos I just want to know about this varieties I just got mine from a cutting but want to compare with the branches of yours because where I purchase the guy say it’s asunta but how he described the flower and the fruit make me more think it’s Bruni or connie mayer

I harvested my first Bruni, cutting gifted from Leo M. As soon as i cut into it i smelled a chemical smell like disinfecting wipes lol. I thought it was my knife or cutting board, it wasn't. The first bite tasted exactly what i smelled but i love the texture and the juice was creamy. I'm not into the super floral flavors.

That's a hard question... No Bruni to spare this season. What is your climate like and I can recommend 5 varieties for you :)

Yes, but not quite as big and less earthy in my opinion. This is a very complex fruit.

@@DebiSunset If it makes you feel any better, I just cut open my LaVerne Red fruit, from a plant that had all the labels on it, and it's a LaVerne Pink!!! I'll do an episode on the large fruit when it's ripe.
