in this house we stan Bruno Madrigal i don't own anything except for the editing. all rights go to disney (knock knock knock knock knock, knock on wood this video doesn't get taken down for copyright reasons).
No... I did NOT just start simping for a 50-year-old man who lives in the walls of Casita Madrigal and watches rat TV every day. Why'd you do that, Disney? I love this man too much.
@@pumpcinn It doesnt say hes 50 in the movie explicitly but yeah he is. Im pretty sure near the start it says it's been 50 years since the miracle happened. Bruno and his siblings were tiny tiny babies when the miracle happened Hence, Bruno is 50
Bruno: I AM NEVER EVER CONFRONTING MY MOM. Plot: Hey, your niece is in danger of becoming an outcast like you. Bruno: I AM CONFRONTING MY MOM. THIS GUY IS THE BEST THING TO EVER HAPPEN TO THE MADRIGALS.
It is like I can see a scene in front of me, where Bruno sits somewhere all night preparing himself for this confrontation. But he still can't make it work as he wanted to, but he just comes across as much more clownish and much less dignified than he intended to do. However, I just love that Abuela doesn't even care that Bruno tries to chew her out and hugs him and kisses him. So in the end, it all works out better than what he thought that it would do. 🙂
@@aashisinha512 And meanwhile the moth girl who is 7'9 aka Dakota fitting the "Seven Foot Frame" better than the person the whole song was made for singing her own version like: Seven foot nine, silk around her spine, got a streak of 12 in Moth Run: Twilight, WE SHOULD TALK ABOUT 'KOTA, YEAH YEAH YEAH
@@MsUlquiorra77 No it was Camilo and here's how I know: During Dolores's verse, "Bruno" in the background has green, glowing eyes. Well, that only happens when he's actively having a vision, which he isn't. However, when Camilo shapeshifts into Bruno, his eyes are glowing green. So it's definitely Camilo. Plus, it would explain how Camilo got to Bruno's tower for his verse in the first place.
@@kaththewolf938 That is incorrect. The Creator himself literally stated that is definitely Bruno sneaking around in the background, trying to fix the cracks in the walls while everyone was singing.
Bruno literally left to protect a little girl who would suffer more then him. He made sure they know him as the bad guy for her and was even willing to argue and take the blame for her too. This man gave up so much for one person who he didn't want suffer. He is THE man.
he is so soft with everything he does. I felt so bad for him bc he had been made out to be a 'bad' man i cryed when i saw his plate. i just wanted to jump in to the screen and hug him. i felt so bad :(
It’ll only be a matter of time before Bruno has his own short He’s got so much personality: he’s eccentric but sweet, artistic, and he can see the future
I have almost the same feeling I think it's 'cause I'm taller than him whatever is tiny and struggles - is a soft little sweetie that needs love and protection I think it's that famous "motherly instinct" ppl say women have
you missed when Mirabel kicks open the door to tell him to have another vision and 😭 he was holding a rat in his hand,, and he yeets it when he screams 😭😭 I will never get over that part
lol i also adore that scene! sadly there are multiple scenes i had to leave out bc i couldn't find them on youtube and that's the only place i can record clips from, since disney+ doesn't allow my screen recording app :(
Fun facts about Bruno and Why when Camilo explains that he’s 100% wrong! First what Camilo sings in “we don’t talk about Bruno” “Seven foot frame, rats along his back, when he calls your name it all fades to black, yeah, he sees your dreams and feasts on your screams” So right off the bat! Bruno is actually 5’4, he really only interacts with the rats for tv, he calls your name to warn you about the future, he tells the future, but that’s only up to you. And lastly HE. IS. A. SWEETHEART!! WHY DOES CAMILO MAKE HIM SOUND LIKE A HORROR MOVIE VILLAIN?!
The last time Camilo saw Bruno he was very young (around 5-6) cuz he’s about the same age as Mirabel (only a year or two older) so he knows very little about Bruno and the last time he saw Bruno his Tio was significantly taller than him.
My headcannon about Camilo's version of Bruno is that he saw him when he's still young, sneaking into the kitchen to get some leftover. Since he's still young, Bruno must have looked towering to him that's why he could say it. Oh and a funny headcannon that I have is that while Camilo is screaming in fear, Bruno was stuffing his face with some lef over arepas lol
First off,Camilo said that Bruno is that tall because, when he last saw his Tio,he was only 5. Camilo is only a month older than Mirabel(since he's barely taller than her) so,at that point, his uncle looked like a tower to him. Second,Bruno is FRIENDS with rats,he literally lived in a place where only rats lived. About the name thing, his predictions are usually bad and/or realistic and people don't like it when bad things happen to them. Also, since the whole village thought of Bruno as a bad person,it's natural Camilo would view him as just as bad. He barely knows his uncle,so it's easy for him to believe bad rumors about Bruno. But,if you think about it,it could also be Pepa who influenced Camilo into thinking like that about Bruno, since he ruined her wedding. Also, just because I'm "defending" Camilo doesn't mean I don't love our adorable ratman. I like both Bruno and Camilo, they're total cuties...
They way they talked about Bruno at first made him seem like someone evil. But he's noooooot. Right beside Camilo, Bruno is my favorite character in this entire film 💜
I just noticed that Bruno was the first person to ask if Pepa (if I got her name wrong i will cry) was okay. Abuela gaslite pepa, telling her not to feel anything because of how the weather changed but in the last song when bruno talks about pepa's wedding he says he wanted to let her know that she could talk and could let her feelings out cause he was there for her. So thats cool
I simply adore how Dolores sings her part in "We don't talk about Bruno" so quietly. For a person who can hear things pretty well,I could barely hear her. And later, when she's done and it's Camilo's turn he just sings "SEVEN FOOT FRAME" out loud like there's no tommorow. PEOPLE CAN HEAR YOU,CAMILO!
@@EliasJWhite Well, I think I could have managed that age difference at this point in my life. It would be worse if it had been 17 years old and 30 years old.
I liked how Mirabel and Bruno both looked similar--from skintone, nose type, to hairstyle and color/texture. They were both the black sheeps in their family, after all. So, it was nice that they kind of matched looks.
@@eveastle516 You know, it is like people forget that he was trying to save her from falling down a hole at the time. So if her hands were sweaty and slippery, it would have made it more difficult for him to get her up. And thus, I don't feel that Bruno's first words are as random or rude as some people seem to think they are.
Ok not me a 22 year old girl falling head over heals for a 50 year old man who lives in the walls of a house, watches rat TV and makes telenovelas….COME ON DISNEY WHY YOU DO THIS TO ME 😭
Bruno being too scared to confront his family, most importantly his mom, for his own sake, but being able to do so for his niece is just....my crops are watered, my skin is clear, my grades are rising
Ever since I saw him on screen, I immediately fell in love with him…he’s such a total sweetheart who loves his family and saved his niece! God…He is just…both adorable and good looking!
The best lines: - “iM jOrgE I mAke tHe sMaCkLe” - I WAS LIKE gOOO and SHE WAS LIKE fffhthtfff And finally ✨kNoCk kNoCk kNoCk kNoCh kNoCkkkk kNoCk oN wOOd✨ And And I wanted you to know that your bro loves you so *letitinletitoutletitrainletitsnowletitgOOOOOOOO* 😌
2:14 This is why Bruno is my favorite character in the movie. The whole first half of the film makes him seem so sinister and evil when he literally left his family who he loves with all his heart to protect his niece :'( He's such a sweetheart
Anybody else reckon his attempts at fixing things and being highly superstitious / warding off bad luck is to compensate for all the bad things that happen after he sees them in a vision (people thinking the visions cause them). Almost like a way to distance himself from any potential causal relationship. He's been made to think he's "bad luck" to the family so does everything in his power to ward off his own perceived "bad luck / influence" on what happens to others in order to protect them / the family? Idk, it just came to mind - the precious bab 🥺
for sure. in the script it says he has ocd, so he probably picked up the superstitions to try and lessen how many bad visions he had, and as his anxiety got worse they became obsessive-compulsive habits he has to do to feel safe
I saw someone mention that he probably thought his "Hernando" and "Jorge" characters actually doomed Mira because the last time he saw her, she was a tot, so he probably thought that kinda of acting would work on her lmao
The power of the movie makers just think it’s totally normal to have this Old woman who is like not at her best strength because she’s older pull up like a 30 year old onto a horse
Try getting into communities and activities that attract the sort of people you like and share views and interests with Volunteering is a great way to find caring people (and you get to do good yourself!)
@@musiclikerperson I am Volunteer but my problem is not that I am not good for others but my problem is I am a bit weird which scares people away or they pretend that they like me for a joke, I also many guys want to be just friends with me or do not want to be with me at all to talk
"She's his aunt... It's a very like, forbidden..." Forbidden love? Are the creators trying to tell us something? Did they KNOW everyone was going to fall for the adorable, probably age inappropriate man? 😲😳
I guess this was another reference to the book "100 years of solitude", where in the end there's a romance between a aunt and her nephew and they have a baby with a pig tail
*Fandom:* Uh-oh. *Disney:* Don't tell me. Y'all simping for a 50 year old rat man? *Fandom:* Yup. *Disney:* And are going to ship him with his nephews? *Fandom:* Most likely. *Disney:* Bring it on. *Everyone:* BOOOOYAAAAA
Okay but one thing though rewatching this 4:10 I have realized is either Alma is really strong to pull Bruno up on that horse like that or He truly lost a lot of weight due to his years in the walls that it made him really light enough to where a 75-year-old woman can pull him up like a small sack of potatoes.
I love every character in this movie and feel protective of them all, but bruno gives off drowned kitten vibes so ofc i simp for him and am the most protective of him
The only thing that explains why 1 ) They won't talk about him except in hushed stories, but 2 ) All looked shocked, then overjoyed, when they saw him, is... they thought he had killed himself, and that "left" was being used as a metaphor.
