I don't think Bruno is underrated, it just seems like so because he doesn't live for the drama unlike other celebrities, i'm pretty sure most people will rank him as one of the top singers/performers of this generation
Can we just take a moment to appreciate his band? The Hooligans are beyond amazing themselves. I mean, they keep time with both their dancing and their playing, simultaneously! And having enough wind in your pipes to both play a wind instrument *and* dance?! Wow!
Nah, the leader of Jabbawockeez said himself that they just help and pitch ideas, BM is fully involved in the process and has the final say. Besides, choreography aint even half of it.. 90% is going out on that stage under those lights and pulling it off while singing and giving the fans what they want.. and, like the OP said, while playing wind instruments at that

I love him!! Bruno respects and honors the old school but puts his own favor in what he does. This generation is lucky to have him. There was only one James Brown, one MJ, and one Prince and now one Bruno. He was born into a musical family and he was born to be an entertainer. He also surrounds himself with great talent as well. In today's generation, I really can't see why some people put other artists above Bruno when it comes to "Overall Performance" For God's sake... HE LITERALLY DOES EVERYTHING.

In my humble opinion, Bruno Mars is one of the top three performers in America today. He honors without being derivative while bringing masterful creative form and movement to his choreography. And who can match the unique beauty of his tone? Don't need to say anything about them Hooligans. Their work speaks volumes.
I was so blessed to see him do his second show of his first large venue tour. I was in the 3rd row on the floor. After he got on stage he was so amazing to watch him take it all in and his facial expression was priceless. He was so humbled with it all. I think that it showed him how far he had come. The rest of the show was so amazing 👏 😍

This is a humble loving man. He's a true heart of gold. We saw him in Scottsdale at a free concert, only about 250 people there. He still gave a full concert dancing with the audience including many kids., a n d had so much energy. fun and love in his preformance ❤
Bruno is not like the other artists who wear different costumes or attire from other people in background to be the centre of attention instead he makes all the other people on the stage makes them wear the same attire he wears..... Bruno I love you man....I love everything about you...love
I’ll never understand why he isn’t the biggest star now. He has everything and a ease with it that few ever do. His style is timeless which means he easily fits in with some of the biggest acts in history. Maybe it’s because he’s not overtly sexual and that’s all anything is now. But he deserves all the success.
My theory is that he isn't insanely attractive towards the teen or young adult audience (which dominate the pop music demographic). Teens or young adults (especially girls) r always obsessed with good looking people. I mean look at bts and Shawn Mendes. Their fans r crazy obsessed about them and when ur idolized as gods, that means more popularity and money. Also it could be the fact that bruno's lyrics doesn't resonate with the newer generation. The younger generation is filled with snowflakes and "depressed" kids. They like to hear songs that relates to them, so top stars write songs about depression, love fantasies, sob stories, etc. Bruno will always be #1 in my eyes and I really wished he was also the #1 star in america. Guess we'll have to find out and see
Bruno mars is one of the biggest stars now. Artists look up on him and thats something one can only dream of. He's very picky with his songs to release and also he writes song for other artists
As a 59 year old grandmother can I just say I LOVE Bruno and his new band Silk Sonic! Makes me think I’m back in the 70’s. AMAZING TALENT!!!! ❤️❤️❤️. He has an appeal that extends through the generations. When my 16 year old granddaughter and I enjoy him together, I’m her age again. Blessings to this talented man and thank you! Closest to MJ we will ever have!

I've always loved that his dancers were always guys and not scantily clad women bumping and grinding! Refreshing! And there's real dancing, syncronicity, instruments, and singing! Entertainment at it's finest! HOOLIGANS!!!
I’m 53 but I’ve always loved his music. But his dancing is just as good. Even when he’s barely moving he’s still amazing! I grew up adoring Michael Jackson so I know class when I see it and Bruno Mars has got it all ♥️
Apart from the fact that he's amazing, I love the fact that they all look like they are having a good time and not just putting on a performance. It's like they're having a party and everyone is invited.

Bruno LITERALLY, hit every musical genre in every decade in less than 4 albums! This man is a musical genius with so much talent and diversity from rock, pop, soul, doo-wop, to 80-90’s jams, and back around again! He has a little bit of something for every generation. My 80 yr old granny loves him cause he reminds her of the Motown era with live instruments and percussion, and he even got my 55yr old Momma down to my 10 yr old groovin to him as well! He’s completely and totally underrated! Can’t understand for the life of me why he’s not bigger and more celebrated than he is! 😍♥️

Bruno’s performances are so outstanding because of the hard work he puts into them, and inspires others to do the same. You can’t be a slacker and be a part of his band.

My granddaughter got me started listening to Bruno singing the oldies and I even listen to some of his “not so oldies”..... he truly is a bridge to bringing back “The Good Stuff”. Cannot think of any other singer (maybe Usher) that really does that. I have always been an R&B lover!
You can bet he was auditioning since he was in his mother's womb. He has a musical family and it was inevitable he would enjoy performing at a very young age. His childhood videos say it all.

Brandon Carter - You’d love his first Super Bowl appearance, it was amazing. When he sings a ballad at the end, it’s just a spotlight on him on a tiny stage in the middle of the field and the passion when he sings is so intense. You can see that he means it with every fiber of his being.
I’m the same age and totally agree with you! On my bucket list, and I live very close to Vegas, so it might just be possible. He’s the only one around now that I’d spend my SS check on, LOL! He’s always had that Motown swag that I so love and grew up with.
I’m 71 years old , and I enjoy all of his music and dance video’s. God blessed him with all this talent, the whole group is just magnificent and so entertaining to watch.😻
53 years old over here. He reminds me of the Temptations and the Four Tops too. The choreography back then was so smooth and Bruno and his crew are just like that. I’ve gone to see him twice and he really puts on a great show!
Bruno is excellent and so is every single one of his crew. They are committed to excellence and it shows in every movement by each dancer ... professionalism, talent and skill ... incomparable and amazing!
I was lucky enough to see Bruno Mars at Casino Rama in Canada for the XXIV Gold Tour. It was by far the best concert I have seen in my life. I am 68 now. Bruno sang, dance and told jokes without a break for 3 hours, even letting the band go off stage and he did improv. I will forever remember it with great fondness, and the best concert. I have seen many concert greats in my career as I managed big concert venues in the UK.

Anyone who knows Bruno Mars knows he works hard at what he does. That’s what separates him from the rest. He was a Michael Jackson and Elvis impersonator so of course a lot of his style resembles them but is that so wrong? He made it his own and he did it his way.
