Chris is literally a Modern version of MJ, when it comes to music chris icormperates a lot of MJ elements into his music. The way Chris dance has the influence of MJ but with a modern twist. Bruno is a time capsule for the sound MJ made. Bruno keeps it old school with a bit of flare to it. Chris on the other hand modernizes everything and expands on it. You can't let Chris' troubled history take away from all of the good he does in the background. Awards and Nominations don't me shit anymore, example: Cardi B winning a grammy over Mac Miller and Nipsey Hussle. Not to mention Chris is also known for very entertaining and colorful performances. The only thing I'd say Chris isn't too good at is singing live, he does a lot of unnecessary runs that go longer than they should. But then again the main is constantly dancing all over the place. Put some respect on Chris Brown's name Oh and on a side note, the real reason Chris is putting out albums with a ton of songs is because he's doing it for the fans. He knows what the fans want and that is a lot of music. Not to mention Chris is one of the youngest artist to own their Masters, plus he has a deal with RCA for his label CBE (Chris Brown Entertainment), sooo Chris literally has free range to do whatever the fuck he wants with his music now. Chris is my favorite artist of all time. Always loved him, I've been super inspired by him in my life and when it comes to creativity, don't matter about awards and shit. Do I love his music as much as I used to? Not all of it. I know this video is before Indigo, but Indigo was CRAZYYYYY. Didn't love HOFM, but love a lot of songs from it. I also love Bruno, from the beginning and I would rather see him live PERSONALLY because of his live vocals and overall showmanship, and how well the music is composed and written (live instruments, etc.). I personally think he has the best voice of this time and ridiculous range. We gotta stop this comparison shit to the greats cuz every artist is inspired by them, but they're themselves and not anyone else. I will say that I personally like Bruno Mars more than Chris Brown. I was listening to Chris Brown when he first came out and I loved his music. I was in fifth grade I believe when Bruno Mars music started making his own music instead of writing and featuring with other artists and he's a big part of my childhood as well. I couldn't go anywhere without hearing Bruno Mars on the radio. That being said I only started being a fan of Bruno Mars when I entered college in 2018, I was laying down in my dorm room and I clicked on some random video of Bruno Mars singing live and my mind was blown! I started to do a deep dive into all of his albums, live performances, interviews, bits of concerts, and this guy just oozed charm, charisma, talent! His voice is incredible, his music is amazing, and his live performances are out of this world! I was hooked. Compared to Chris, who I like because I grew up listening to his music, Chris just doesn't compare. The only thing he does better than Bruno is dance. He doesn't have Bruno's charisma or charm, style, or showmanship. And his live performances are not anywhere as good as Bruno's. Bruno is just a star all the way around. Chris isn't, in my opinion. Bruno is an artist. He's all about quality music and performances. Chris is just a singer with dancing thrown in.
