Brutal Doom Kickass Edition ALL Weapons Showcase, this is a Brutal DOOM fork made by D-Boi, it has lots of weapons and it is currently in the 4.0 beta phase. As I mentioned there are really lots of weapons, you can find over 25 of them including the Doom Eternal Ballista, Cyberdemon's Missile Launcher, Revolvers, MP-40 or M1911 Pistol. It also includes tons of new sprites for existing weapons such as Rocket Launcher, Minigun, Super Shotgun or Pump-Action Shotgun (these I mentioned are truly greatly refreshed). Modification has also built the Dash system known from Doom Eternal.
so im trying it out and the start shotgun pistol and smg are the normal old sprites not the ones shown in the video..is there something im doing wrong or need to add?or will u find them as you go

I'll disagree with "more" weapons. I think a few could be cut out as they are kind of redundant and a replica of something else already there. Keep it tight and clean. Just like a pussy.

The pistol sprite erks me. It looks different while firing with it but when you reload it's in the style of the normal doom/BD pistol. Other then that, holy FUCK is this mod insane. I'm glad I came back to revisiting doom mods
Brutal DOOM's SSG will always be the definitive SSG in my opinion. Nothing sounds like an absolute SLAM in the fuckin FACE than this thing. The SSG is perfect and anyone who says otherwise its wrong. Why is it called the Super Shotgun? Because its better. *_Because its Super._*
I only know that he took the music of the dlc The Ancient Gods part 1. There aren't lot of songs on this dlc, so maybe if you search the entire soundtrack of this dlc you can find them. I only recognize the first one that is called "Bloody Swamps - Heavy fighting"
I'm a big fan of Brutal Doom/Project Brutality but there's too many different weapon mods for it. It just seems all the same with a few bells and whistles here and there. Dont know which one to choose or which one is good.
@@MartinozO No, I am asking that because there was a dash mod wich was seperate and you could also relocate it on screen too. Is it the same, I mean included in mod or part of the base mod ?
My only nitpick is that some of the weapons aren't even aesthetically matching with each other. And some are obviously just copied from DooM Eternal and 2016. Like really an Uzi and an MP40? I respect the modding community of Doom. But the sub-genre of Brutal Doom Variants has become really stale for me. Project Brutality had at least made the weapons look like they are all tailor-made for Doomguy. None of that Tacticool BS, as most guns there are beefy and unique in aesthetics and gameplay.
@@drakespamer8193 Well sorry for disliking your mod then. I really don't see the difference from the OG mod apart from the new weapons to be honest. Like I said in the original comment, it's a nitpick, so pardon my ignorance for I could not even pick up Brutal Doom or any of its variations anymore. Because bluntly speaking, I find these addons to be the same damn thing over and over. Tacticool meaning the handguns, the revolvers, Mp40's and Uzis. These firearms IMO doesn't fit Doomguy at all. I get turned offf every time I see any of the weapons mentioned in any weapon mod. I would appreciate it if it incorporated new weapon sprites, but that's just me just ignore that. So that's that. Just another Brutal Doom Mod.
my complaint is that there are so many effects going off at once that it kind of ruins your ability to actually see and appreciate the gory sprite carnage because it's just a blur of overly bright effects and smoke everywhere
Most of these Brutal Doom variants have too many of that. Sadly. So much shit flying around that it becomes taxing to your graphics card almost at a breakneck pace. The OG mod had at least an option to remove it.
this is kinda bad like it's just bd with some half-assed sprite replacements that create inconsistencies between animations on the same weapon and a bit more clutter in the arsenal EDIT: oh wait they also have a dash taken out of hell crusher that hasnt been designed around
