It contains a one starting map where you can choose a skill (easy, medium or hard), one secret filler map and four normal maps to complete. Starting map will reminds you of Quake 1, the differences in the skill are huge, especially between medium and hard, this is a completely different experience. There are different monsters that you will have to fight (for example, instead of Scrags on Hard there are Lost Souls on Medium) and there are way less of them on Easy. As I mentioned earlier, this is a really difficult mappack - lots of the fights are inside small rooms or even if have lots of place to hide, you will meet invisible Archviles. It gives you a tough challenge even since the first level, the ammunition is quite rare all the time and the introduced custom monsters are beefy tanks, especially Archons of Hell. As for the custom monsters you will find Goryheads, two different versions of Acolytes, melee Satyrs, tanky Grels that can poison you, Archons of Hell and Overlord at the end. You will notice some compatibility issues for sure, for example starting with a vanilla pistol or shotgun but thankfully Brutal Doom's weapons are working fine. A lot of the places in this mappack are simple and instakill traps, lava pools, timed bridges, extremely fast crushers, ambushes next to you, sudden spawning monsters, you name it. And I had to use god mode during the final fight when returning to arena - there is a small compatibility issue when you return, dunno why but you get instakilled after first person fatality, lul.
