law firms get their names however they want, but yeah, tcbobb is pretty much right, any name for a big law firm you see these days, that was made by a merger of smaller law firms, and the original partners who founded those firms are dead or retired. i am also a retired lawyer, but my name was never on a law firm.

honestly that seems very realistic, either that or he literally doesnt give one single shit about cybersecurity. Cause if you're getting hacked that often over years and years you either have no cybersecurity or someone is accessing everything manually (like someone who has physical access to his or sound eng's laptop)

You do not need a VPN for purchases, even in public Wifi, because thanks to HTTPS, since it has built-in encryption, you only use a VPN for file sharing if you are doing illegal stuff and worry about your ISP or government.

Is it wrong to listen to a leak from an artist/band before its release? I think so. I avoid any leaks from movies to music. It's not right to listen or watch something that was stolen from people who worked hard on the material. It's also can ruin the experience since sometimes it's unfinished or wasn't meant to release to public. Maybe they wanted to release their music in a certain way. Either way, tt's like you're going against the artist's creative intention.

I would actually be happy if they held my music for ransom because I would just say "you don't have the guts!". Then when they do, I'd download it, re-upload it to a "pay what you want" link explaining how some hacker stole the album and was holding it for ransom. THE SYMPATHY SALES would flood in, likely resulting in making more money than if you didn't have the sympathy story. Me personally? I haven't bought an album in over 10 years but if I heard that that happened to an artist I like I would easily toss him 20 bucks for the album.
