Muay Thai is not for everyone. You will benefit more if you are relatively fit, at least cardio-wise. Then you can immediately pick on basics which should last you for the lifetime. At the height of my fitness when I was 50 and could run 42 km marathon 20 years ago, I began practicing Muay Thai and nearly died from exhaustion on the first day!
Haha the first lesson is brutal yeah! Being fit makes it for sure better, but there were enough people who came ‘unfit’ and finished the lessons as well! 😄

Thought they would teach you proper body mechanics when throwing a kick or punch but doesn't seem to be the case. They'll let you punch and kick how ever you want.
