I totally agree Jeff 💯 ...your points are well taken...for me, I equate 1 month of Thailand training to 4-6 months at home. The intensity and focus you can maintain is not possible at home... I can't wait to get back!!
Jeff you are super legit, and I don't mean in your technical skills (which are obvious), I mean it the sense that you are a great communicator and role model for the martial arts community in general. Values, proper training, cultural nuances in training... you seem to put an effort in understand it all.
Best part is to skip Canada's winter! 😂 Seriously, wow, great project Jeff. The whole thing transpire personal growth, human bonds, good times. You almost forgot that this is still the hurt business 😅 Been to Thailand twice, and it's just paradise. I wish I would join you there and train. 🙏
Looks like a great experience for martial artists serious about training and getting experience in combat sports! I empathize and agree with how you feel as a coach, stressing about wanting your athletes to be successful and also prioritizing their safety, and I think you made the right call! Thanks for giving back to the martial arts community! 🙂
Good thing you made him stop fighting with that broken arm, It might be very frustrating and discouraging for him at the moment but he will continue to fight another day, rather than tearing cartilage, muscles and nerves and end up loosing an arm.💯👌🤙💪
Wish I was 20 years younger. 46 (25 Army years) is a bit old to get in the ring. Still get huge amounts of knowledge I pass on to my soldiers from your videos!
Great place to go & train. I have visited there. My Cousin married a local girl years ago. They have a small little beachside resort along one of the beautiful coastal area's there.
I can't wait to come back, tiger muay thai was nice but I also need to see other gyms. I've also been to chang mai too and they have some nice gyms. Also, you can get an education visa for muay thai too
@@MMAShredded Well noted, Jeff. Thanks a lot for your invitation. Let me adjust my working days and if I have holidays, I will definitely join the camp...
Training in Thailand is such an amazing experience. I know for certain I will make it to one of these retreats. Hopefully Jeff will pick a camp in Koi Samui, 🤞 😂 ❤ 🇹🇭
This looks really inclusive and just a generally great vibe - expected from Jeff anyway! I plan on coming to Thailand this year, I’ll definitely be signing up!
Can u do video about closing distance? I'm not scared of geting punched but i cant seem to close distance with punches (im bad at punching and moving at same time)
The best advice i can give is just a fuckton of practice while with a partner (or if youre alone, recording yourself) then slowly but surely adjusting to what your partner or you seem good. Then always get a "feel" whenever youre doing the stuff so when you fight or spar you can quickly act the moves youre thinking.
Are you still there Jeff! I am coming to Thailand November! I’m trying to plan what gym to come to first this looks amazing looks like a cool spot and cool crew that vibe
I will be in Italy for 2 month. Its not the same, but I cant wait to find a Muay Thai or Kickboxing gym there. Just working and training. No distractions.
I think it would tough to get to train with Buakaw/host a camp with him. but my next camp will be in Bangkok Feb 25-march 6, email me at jeff@mmashredded.com if you are interested in coming!
Your pretty dope Jeff I like your vibe man! Love to train with ya one day! Muay Thai is life for me 15 years of training I really wanna compete someday!
My two little girls, 7 and 8, love MT and train regularly. I train as well and have considered bringing them on a training trip to Thailand. Would the training be too intense for them?
Hey! Not at all, it is for all levels! We focus a lot on technique. Feel free to email me at jeff@mmashredded.com if you have any questions or want to discuss more about it :)
Mr. Jeff chan please come to saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 and give some sessions. Don't worry I will host you stay at my home 🏡. I will take you to the best mma clubs in jeddah, Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦.
Hey Jeff. I'm a newby in kickboxing and my more experienced sparring partners have lately been encouraging me to hit them hard (although they don't hit me hard). As a proponent of light sparring, what do you make of this? Do you think it's beneficial for new guys to be encouraged to hit more experienced guys hard? Should I be worried about the direction of my training?
Watching that hand injury was hard, why the fuck the ref kept it going is beyond me if you ask me, fight another day, fuckin' up the hand even worse might be the difference between having a 2 month healing process, to 4 months or even longer.
