If someone is not feeling that connection, physical or spiritual don't force it; if it's not there, it's not there. She can and will find someone that will appreciate her wholly.

Yeah I agree with you a connection is a rare thing or we would be dating everyone who asks us. I’m amazed as many ppl feel it as they do events. In the past I might have been offended but I’ve felt no connection with super hot men and huge connections with ppl I rly wouldn’t find attractive on paper. You connect or you don’t connect. These ppl with very fixed types I think they should ease them in slowly with a couple of things missing versus an entirely opposite person.

@neovarleydownes9109 it has to be for the cameras but I do fear that she may project this same “pick me” energy off camera. The fact is he has been blatantly honest and yet she ignores that hoping for love to grow. I couldn’t ignore this perspective of me from a potential partner and it would turn me off to the man instantly. I don’t care how hot someone is if it’s not mutual, I’m not into it.

The whole point is ‘the usual type’ has not worked out for him (plus others), which is why the experts are focussed on qualities rather than specific looks. Other couples have grown to be attracted to each other, Jamie & Doug USA being a notable example

It makes me irritated out the two female wedding couple is smiling and looking as if they’re being entertained by what he’s saying. I’ve always skipped their scenes because they’re awful to watch and look at them acting all cool with each other again just absolutely toxic.

I don't watch this show partly because of the experts and partly because of the obvious scripting and staging of it. The guy was just being honest about not feeling a connection and the experts are telling him he's making her feel bad and he should go all in. He didn't say there's anything wrong with her but you can't fake chemistry. This whole show is based on an unrealistic experiment and for entertainment. There's nothing brutal about what he said. People go on first dates and in most cases, one person is feeling it more than the other person. It doesn't mean anyone is inferior. The idea that people should force themselves to feel something about a person is terrible.

I would quit girl your wasting your time you could do so much better. He is definitely allowed his type, but if he could get his usual type all the time, why go on this show. Clearly the point of this show is that people cannot get supermodels on a daily basis so they are hoping to find one on this show.

@@aishas2497I think they should meet these ppl in the middle somehow like they literally chose someone the exact opposite of his type in every single way. I’m pretty sure they could find a way to start to challenge him in a smaller way. Some ppl are rly shallow but I’m not sure you combat that by going in with everything they are not attracted to but perhaps just softening them up a bit. You can also feel not attracted to ppl or we would ran anyone we ran into. I’ve not been attracted to lots of super hot guys as I just didn’t feel physical chemistry it’s not all looks based and you rly cannot help it. It’s rly awkward I can’t imagine anything worse than getting rejected or having to reject someone on tv off the bat like that. I think they know it won’t work out after the honey moon but just don’t want to leave the show.

I don't think the show should force them to continue. Adam has behaved really offensively towards Polly. He has no grounds to judge her on appearance because he is by far the least attractive man on the programme. That horrible hairstyle, like a bowl on his head, and he is overweight and constantly miserable looking. He should go, and the show should give Polly the chance to return with someone more suited to her.
