BRUTALLY Honest Review of the UnderCover Ultra Flex Tonneau Cover (w/30 Sec. Install) 

After 5 years on my F150 these are my comments: I had the cover installed after buying the truck it's ok but had 3 problems. I use my truck a lot , the bed cover is opened and closed quite a bit so a more casual use may not have these problems 1. The sheet metal screws that hold the release cable bracket became loose and had to be reinstalled and eventually new holes drilled to put in screws in different location 2. The rail clamps become loose no matter how much I tighten them. It's not a big deal to put them back on and tighten up but it is a hassle that shouldn't be happening but after frequent opening and closing of the cover it keeps happening 3. The top of the cover scratches easily which starts looking bad I just bought a new truck today , I will look at these covers again as a possibility but I will look at other options like the Backflip MX 4

Bob, with a little caulk, I think you could fill with water and carry your live bait in it also. Store them for when you get off work, go straight to lake! lol. Nice set up. Thanks for the video and review.

Just put this on my 2015 Silverado. Kicking myself for not putting it on when the truck was new. I had a Avalanche before this truck and always missed the covered bed. I do some stupid things from time to time, this is one.

I wonder if you put in some of that tailgate seal that they sell for trucks, would that cut down on water and moisture from getting in as well? Especially in the winter with ice everywhere

Since the cover doesn't rest on the back of the cab when all the way open, would it be wobbling around when driving at highway speed?

Can’t leave valuables in the bed in a hotel parking lot overnight for instance. All you need is a wire coat hangar. Bend it into a hook and feed it through the tailgate gap, grab the latch cable, pull and its open. Thats a downer for me.

Very nice shameless channel plug! From the looks of it, when fully up it blocks the cab top cargo camera where the BakFlip does not. Is that right?

would this work on a 2022 Jeep Gladiator? and does it come with its own cargo rails? (or rail trails)

Nice cover for about 5 years then it starts to sag, and the panels completley deteriorate inside . To almost hollow. Not sure why. But for $1000.00 this should not happen. Any thoughts?

Put one on my 2022 chevy Silverado this is a piece of sh- - ! I could do better with a ten dollar tarp. The thing leaked anytime it rained went back to the dealer to have it fixed and it still leaked. They sent me another one after one month and it’s better this one leaks less! Good luck with yours The dealer installed both covers and it leaks still!
