For me Bruticus was the most powerful Combiner/Gestalt from the first three seasons of Tranformers, a deadly combiner form by a group of soldiers that are only focus in the achievement of their mission
@@JohnSmith-in9ms The underwater ones were called Seacons, and could combines to form Piranacon, also there are the mini pretenders who could merge to become Monstructor.
Bruticus was so deadly, that the only way Megatron found a way to prevented him from unleashing chaos was to reprogrammed him into no taking the initiative to start a combat
His being awesome and powerful, even going complex, is cool and all. What was left out is how Starscream was able to steal energon cubes that were just "their personalities" and drop them into ancient abandoned war machines to turn them into Decepticon transformers, and that transforms them into those advanced AI super-tech life forms. I say those mere "personalities" were far more than that... they were pretty much seeds to not only implant their personality into a raw material husk, but reconfigure that husk into a body that works with it. I think Megatron saved them so that he can drop them into a killed enemy and make a deal with them to rejoin his forces if they prove their loyalty by using that enemy's form to infiltrate their forces. All of the Combaticons had not only sheer fighting ability, but the personality to do such ruses... core-type DECEPTicons. I also feel that Devastator was kind of given the finger. He was the first combo-team, once totally feared, but never upgraded to match each new combo team. I mean, if Hasbro stopped that, so they wouldn't lose toy sales, they were IDIOTS. Can you imagine OG Devestator fans who would BUY things to upgrade Devestator? New versions of each Constructicon... new weapons... battle armor similar to what Ultra Magnus's trailer became (exoframe)... and then leading to merge team versions of other Transformers. Hasbro was really short-sighted and thus missed out. That being said, I had Bruticus by purchasing each Combaticon in the 1980s. When I bragged about it and showed if off, my friend with a complete Devastator got kind of sad. The toys not only had different cool looks, but came with stat readouts of the characters.
Bruticus was more powerful when he was a raw renegade with full rebellious free will. If the lack of energy absorbers in the combaticons and the three deactivation points built into his back were not purposely put there by starscream, Bruticus would have been unbeatable. After Megatron reprogrammed him, Bruticus was never the same and lost initiative and ability to think/ strategize for himself in combat..
You know what I find "marvelous" about these video's each time again and again? The marvelous amount of mistakes and plain errors presented as canon. If anyone new to the Transformers is introduced with these video's, they will be very confused when eventually see the cartoons and read the comics. So undefinable bad.
I don't like the new transformers cartoon except Titans and the other one that came out the same time. Anyway new one are drawn silly act silly. We need good ones like Titans , Prime.
You guys really need to do better research before you start making these videos dirge is a Decepticon Seeker. It was slingshot and air raid that were the aerialbots that stayed behind in the hanger. And Shockwave was only used is brutus's main weapon of one-time in the siege of Cybertron then he stuck Shockwave in his back Cannon and blasted him into space
the middle-eastern country was not unnamed... All Glory to the Socialist Democratic Federated Republic of Carbombya! May all say it's name and tremble!
