TRANSFORMERS Bruticus Knock-Off & Amazon Blast Off Review 

I'm very new to collecting and feel kinda dumb I didn't realize there were knock offs, glad to know the Bruticus I got coming in the mail (And can't return -_-') will be good quality and almost the same as the genuine ones.

I bought the set because I was never able to find the legit versions of Swindle or Brawl. I was planning on mixing and matching them with the one I have, but it sounds like the QC is better on the KO’s than on the Hasbro ones. What a weird world we live in.

What’s the quality like compared to the originals/HASBRO ones? As I’m missing a few from finishing superion and bruticus and can’t be bothered paying the high prices people are asking for the real ones

Picked up Bootleg Brawl to repair my poor ol' broken G2 style Brawl - can't wait for him to arrive and get Bruticus back in action.

I got those KOmbaticons too! There's another difference from CW Onslaught and KOnslaught -- KOnslaught's shoulders is actually CW Hotspot's shoulders. That's why in combined mode the chest wings don't tab in anywhere.

I actually got these along with defensor. And devastator. And volcancius (except I think he was from a different company) and honestly for the combaticons they’re pretty good. Only issues is that in vehicle mode, onslaughts cannons side pegs don’t hold position and just fall down, brawls forearms dont have any real friction on the ball joint, blast offs waist joint sucks and doesn’t really work as an arm that well and yeah. Swindle is my favourite. Defensor sucks pretty much. Groove especially. The front wheels don’t fit together very well. Blades or whatever the helicopters name is has a pin in his head that makes it so he can only look up and not from side to side. Hot spot is good, first aid is good and streetwise is ok. Devastator is eeeeeeeh Bonecrusher sucks the most. The treads ball joins are stupidly loose. Only other issue is scavenger, as the middle segment of his digger arm is the wrong way. I can probably fix it by getting out the pin. Somehow. The combined mode is actually pretty good. The biggest let down with it is that it’s a lot smaller than actual combiner wars devastator and is just a bit taller than the other combiners. Other than that, I like devastator! Stupidly poseable! And *just* fits under my shelf. Volcanicus is not too bad not no the best. Sludge or whoever the ankylodon (or whatever dinosaur isn’t the t-Rex, pterodactyl, triceratops or the long neck one) has a combiner peg which is too big. It really doesn’t want to get in and out of any combiner ports I put him in, including my legit superion. (Actually could I get help with that? I don’t know whether I need to sand the leg down or that little gap around the middle of the peg), grimlock is very cool but his legs sucks in combined mode. They have no friction and swivel too easily. (A fix for this too would be great.) others I have no issue with apart from some tabbing issue with swoop. Other noticeable member of the team is slit with so many damn 5mm ports! anyways thanks for coming to my ted talk about these knockoff transformers.

My versions of these knock offs were let’s say, fragile. Just moving my silver bolts arm caused it to break off and my Arielbots didn’t even get normal joints, with firefight having the weakest ball joints ever to alpha bravo having the stiffest ball joints in the universe So bad I just bought unite warriors superion (with the upgrade kit) and now both of them stay in one pose, uw superion putting a blaster to knock off’s head

My knock off bruticus is coming tomorrow (hopeful), and I can't wait to see how it is. Hoping its is good

Great stuff! My combiner wars bruticus will be replaced by oversized warbotron bruticus so it can devastate my unite warriord combiner wars devastator. For future purchases looking at the jujiang jet commander for superion and oversized potp dinos.

I got this set because I jumped on the Combiner Wars train too late (Titan's Return was already on its way out and Power of the Primes was about to drop). I only found a legit Onslaught on sale but none of the limb deluxes. I will say that the quality is pretty good but the plastic quality on the KOs are a lot softer than Hasbros and are prone to break and tear easier. So to anyone planning to get the KO set, just be a little extra careful when handling them and you should be good.

Just got this guy and happy with him, only issue is swindle sits longer on leg mode than brawl and swindle foot comboner port does not hold foot well. I also have NBK devastator and AYOI oversized abominus. Really happy with both. I Fixed NBK arm connection issue and will be making a video on it. The abominus i originally was going to get the blue ko oversized Slag(triceratops) from volcanicus and make a custom MMPR Megazord. But i kind of like him how he is

Here’s a fact you can do with KO blast off, since it’s a copy of sling shot you can put him on the superion to make him part of the jet group

I just got this ko version and didn’t realize till seeing the fake deception symbols and in spite of the Ko being a Ko it’s very good

I prefer this cause it's design is true to G1. Only odd thing is that they went for a jet instead of shuttle.

I have a KO Bruticus and a KO Defensor from the same place and the Bruticus is far better. Defensor was far worse, being loose and repaints of other characters

I have one of them and it is Vortex, i lost the bruticus hand tho so i cant combine into bruticus fully. But i cant have bruticus because the other combaticons i have not yet own.

the bots by them selves are good for the price but combining them the Bruticus is horrible at least my KO is...everything is very loose and the legs are not equal.. My "Bruticus" will need to be supprted to help him stand by himself. I never got the original so that one might also be horrible cannot say. Maybe it's just my version but I won't quickly by another KO again.

I've had this for over a year and recently ordered the United Warriors version. Kinda regretting it since you said the quality is so close. My joints are loose in places on the ko.

That shuttle blast off is expensive as f! Ironic since it's the only g1 figure I bought of bruticus when I was a kid.

New to collecting and got the same brand devastator because there's no way I can afford the combiner wars devastator.

It's crazy how these KOs are done for a cheaper price but are still quality enough to pass as authentic for the most part. Hasbro really needs to step up their game instead of the prices.

I got both kubian versions of bruticus ang superion. I like the sets because they have tighter joints than the original. But I bought them for the limbs. I used them for Elita 1 and Nova Prime

Kyle is technically right because in Japan, there are 2 version of Bruticas in G1 colors and a Combiner Wars version of Reination.

Can the oringal blastoff combine with the bootleg bruticus?

I'm pulling a Captain Kyle, and buying a KO Bruticus set, and Prime Wars Blast Off, and I'm gonna paint the CW Blast Off white, red, and blue to make Slingshot (hey, CW Blast Off is a Slingshot clone, time for me to learn to customize). Then, I get the KO Superion Set, swap out Slingshot with Alpha Bravo, keep Alpha Bravo because what the hell, then I have gotten two combiners and an extra bot for the price of one EDIT: Yeah, Bruticus+Blast Off ran me $90 but it's gonna be SO worth it.

You mis-transformed the tank leg, you have to fold the bit at the part you have connected to the foot under and there is another port under it for foot mode ^^

Through the end of combiner wars my 2016 Christmas I've seen motermaster every department store. My parents got me him and I was going to skip I'm happy as well I originally wanted menasour but I turned it down due to low combiner wars were sold out on retail also I had a different era as my own stunticons like ransack and crumplezone they were my first stuntucons and hopefully I will add knockout and breakdown. Motermaster having a vengeful rivalry with the queen of velocitron, override after killing her competitive friend, blurr in a race. And drift is his brother in my full fan series I need to rewrite.

Great review! Does anyone know if there is a knock off Combiner Wars Menasor. There's Bruticus, Defensor, Superion and Devastator, but I can't seem to find a Menasor/Stunticons. I've looked... more than I care to admit.
