Bruynzeel Rijksmuseum Watercolour Pencils - A Review 

Thank you, Henny, for another helpful and enjoyable video. As a long-time fan, I continue to be grateful for your time and efforts in sharing fun, creative experiences and coloring/art supplies with us.

I recently got a new tool that I have been using with my watercolor pencils, Inktense, and Neocolor II. It’s a simple plastic palette from Caran d’Ache that’s smooth on one side, and textured on the other. On the textured side, you can scribble with the pencil add some water, and use it like a more traditional paint. I’ve been having fun mixing colors that way as a new way of playing with my supplies, and thought I’d share!

Those look amazing. I have the Derwent watercolor pencils, and the do not completely dissolve. When you put the water down, the pencil strokes are still visible. These are nice! I’ll have to look into getting a set. Thank you, and your end painting is beautiful!

My Bruyzeel Design pencils crumble like that but I still love them. Your painting turned out wonderful. I hope all is well with you. Thanks for telling us about the brand.

I have this set, and I really like it. My only complaint was about the lack of color info on the pencils themselves. I enjoy using them, though I refer to my color swatch card pretty frequently.

I would love to see you use more water color products in your coloring book pages - pencils, Neo Color II, actual paints, etc. 🎨♿👵 Barb

I know that the regular Brunzeel pencils are now manufactured by the Japanese firm Sakura. Sakura is stamped on the pencils. Do you know if the watercolor pencils are produced by Sukura as well?
