@@stuffandthangs3953Not all hitless stretches are the same. Say for example if 99% of your outs are from batted balls over 90mph that were hit directly to someone, that’s bad luck. Now if 99% are from strike outs or very weak contact, that’s not bad luck that just means you’re doing something wrong in your swing or you’re just not seeing the ball right.
@@b2284 he did have a great postseason until he got to the World Series and couldn’t hit. Same thing last year. Terrible wild card. Great division series. Then back to a bad championship series. That’s what I’m talking about. Consistency.

He was ridiculously good in the postseason in 2022... earning National League Championship Series MVP... and he was almost as good in 2023. Trouble the Phillies ran into was the guys batting around him went ice cold and teams were able to pitch around him in the last series each year.

We are very lucky to have him, he’s competitive on another level and that pitch would have been a strikeout low ball for almost anyone, the fact he got down there and did that to that pitch is insane
A nice reward to all of the fans that braved that awful, cold, wet weather of last night. Harper has been hitting the ball hard but has been a bit unlucky with nice defensive plays, nice to see him have a night like yesterday.

To think he could have just taken the ball 4 rbi, but he knew he could go yard with that pitch and he did. With 2 strikes too, it was definitely a risk, but that's Bryce for you. He plays hard and he knows what he's capable of. That's why he comes through in clutch moments like this.
Hope this is the year. Mr Middleton you must grab some relief pitching at the deadline it cost us 2 yrs in a row. Kimbrel was absolutely dreadful last yr cost us a trip to the ws. Must go out and get the best relief pitcher and another quality one if were gonna win the ws!!!!

All over the down and in sinker the entire at bat that’s what he wanted the whole time he missed it on 3-1 and even though it was out of the zone Bryce was just so locked in he golfed it out
