I was strolling in a Target, trying to relax. The game was tense, and I was stressed that the Phillies gave up the lead. Then this happened.

Man... I get the chills watching this every time. Never gets old. Brings me back to the moment I was watching the game live, jumping up and down with excitement. He truly lives for the big moments.

I still can’t comprehend how Harper took that 1-2 changeup. It was a perfect pitch, and he didn’t even flinch. 2022 postseason Harper was frigging legendary.

SHOWMAN and this right there is only one of the reasons. he said he was under a lot of pressure when he was a young kid to be the best player in baseball so he was the first pick in the draft. he said that he wanted to be first pick so he could take care of his family he was taking about his dad and mom that family he wasn't married yet. so now that he set his goal and he did it. he has taken care of his family now he has his own family. he can relax and do great things just like that. Was holding my 1 year old and when that ball went over the wall was jumping up an down screaming. Will never forget it! This is the moment I cursed him to be a Phillies fan.

The color guy announcing basically called it. He said fast high and outside but be careful if you leave it low and over the plate Harper can go the other way with it. Exactly what happened. It almost happened on the first pitch.

I'm gonna be honest I don't know if I've felt a deeper catharsis in my entire life than when I watched this live. One of the most suspenseful, white-knuckle moments I've ever had watching sports. He took those early cuts and everyone in the entire WORLD knew how much he wanted it. Nevertheless he battled back from behind and I can STILL remember the shot of adrenaline I got when he just SPITS on that 2-2 changeup just outside the zone. Second he hit the ball I blacked out

It's funny, some childhood actor that called himself "Gibby" and was dropping racial slurs and acting a fool because he was apparently on iCarly told me during his rant that I liked a "mid" baseball team. Yep, the Phillies are awfully mid. Then, I looked the guy up and he was bald, rapping in a stream.

I was there.... section 106 on the pole... The entire stadium erupted. You could feel the stands moving. You could feel the vibrations of the stadium. It was incredible.
