Some of the biggest names in high school hoops were in action Monday night in a primetime AAU matchup.
Several children of NBA superstars were on the floor as Bryce James, Kiyan Anthony and Team Strive For Greatness took on Cameron Boozer, Cayden Boozer and the Miami-based Nightrydas Elite at Bishop Gorman high school in Las Vegas.
Bryce and Kiyan are the sons of LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony while the Boozer twins are the sons of retired NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer.
Undisputedly the best AAU team in the country, having recently won Peach Jam, Nightrydas Elite were led by the twins in the 77-69 victory, namely Cameron, who is the No. 1 player in the class of 2025, per 247 Sports Composite.
He finished with 20 points, 11 rebounds and four assists, just doing everything all over the floor for his squad, including several highlight-worthy moments.
While Bryce isn't quite as heralded as his older brother Bronny, who's set to attend USC in the fall, he's ready to begin his own basketball journey this year at the Campbell Hall School in California.
As for Kiyan, a four-star shooting guard and the No. 1 player in the state of New York for 2025, he'll look to continue dominating the northeast in his sophomore season at Long Island Lutheran.
Here's what Twitter was saying about the star-studded event.

Bronny is more athletic and takes the game more seriously it seems than Bryce, but Bryce got the better portion of the Goat genes with his size if he starts to play with seriousness instead of playing like it’s just his hobby he’ll surpass his brother imo. Kiyan is smooth he can easily be a 3 level scorer on each level he definitely has that Melo Bag his swag is so effortless. Cameron is just him Cayden lacks his brother size but it makes him go hard at everything else they all are impressive for their ages!

Not even trying to overreact but kiyan has all the tools to be a 25ppg player in the nba. He’s easily a top 15 player in the class. As for Bryce…I don’t see him making the nba

@@aquartermil yea from what I’ve seen Bryce is an solid hooper but than the average hooper but he’s not the high recruit people are tryna to make him sound. I think he’s a top 200 player in his class but as for draft prospect I don’t see him even making the g league. Which is weird because what people thought bronny was is what Bryce actually is,when bronny is actually a legitimate nba prospect regardless of Lebron and he was always a top 30player in his class yet he received so much hate.

@@aquartermil speaking of height he was no where near 6’6 he measured in at 6’2 at his recent camp. So you take away the height and he becomes nothing more than a average catch and shooter. @NACentDSTM
@NACentDSTM 11 месяцев назад
Bruh what melo was hella athletic before his ankle and knee injuries and surgery in fact for his first 4 seasons in the nba he attacked the basket more than he did anything else his game was actually like Jordan’s and he used to posterize dudes left and right .then he started working his 3pt game and was considered a pick your poison all a rounder . Melo banged body with body for 19 seasons in the nba and was regularly described by all time greats as strong as a bull and many have stated playing d on melo will have u hurting after the game . Melo was also McDonald’s All American and was in the dunk contest to say melo didn’t have a strong body or wasn’t athletic just is false af

That's the way that the NEW NBA style of Basketball is played bro smh lol. So the kids will play how they are being groomed to play be it by coaches or studying with vet NBA players. & bkz the league enforces a certain standard of play not only for players, but teams included. So the kids are relegated to learn this "No, hands defense, positional less" new style of NBA Basketball that supports high volume scoring as such & the likes. That's why the 3 point shooting phenomenon has taken such effect & grip on the league. Not to mention every lower tier level of Basketball played as well from your local rec center player, to your junior high, high school, college etc all now want to be Steph Curry with the 3 launching shots from half court lol smh. If you've noticed, which I'm sure you have even NIKOLA JOKIC who is 7ft tall doesn't even play on the INSIDE, UNDER THE BASKET! He plays from the 3 pt & the top of the KEY, then he reverse dribble & BACKS DOWN his opponent & uses his size, & weight to get closer to the paint for a more high % shot. He's so fundamentally skilled he doesn't have to be that close in range The NBA's modern game play style is ALL OVER the damn place position-ally speaking ahah. But It's like a double edged sword. You have players playing all out of TRADITIONAL position which brought confident STABILITY in terms of expectations of the game & the way it's played historically by way of the fan base perspective & opinion. So it is kind of annoying watching guys you don't want to see taking shots or making moves from places on the court during pivotal times of the game . But with that being said, the modern Basketball style of play also pushes, enforces, encourages a new different kind of SKILLSET development for ALL players on the court bkz as ROLES & responsibility, assignments etc change purposeful course with the progression of the game, so will the players assignments 1-5 positional wise. In short. Instead of having your PG or SG shooting that final buzzer beater, detrimental must go 3 you have a PF or C taking that shot now which is crazy asfk theoretically lol aha smh! The problem with that is that they are taking that buzzer beater from 25+ ft outsid3e the arch lol. It just makes the game look all crazy, jacked up, discombobulated, backwards etc! Now in defense of the modern day BIG MEN these guys have actually adapted 7 CAN shoot the 3 impressively well such JOKIC did in the finals! So for It's WORKING ahah. But they truly need to get back to tradition positional wise as a standard. Change the rules, no hand checking etc or wtfe, but put the PLAYERS BACK in their traditional roles & assignments bkz to me It's HURTING the modern Basketball game than helping. & by the NBA RATINGS BEING IN THE SEPTIC TANK that should tell them enough lol. But these boys are just doing what they are being told, trained, & taught how to do. ALl they now & care about Is thatr they wanna play in the NBA like their Fathers did aha facts. This is the only way these kids have ever known to play anyway. So to them It's the right way to play aside from looking at retro NBA of the Legends games which I'm sure they most likely have in some form, fashion or another. Yeah, but the modern games is all about SCORING & the current rules dictate that style of play , whereas for GOLDEN ERA generations of NBA, American Basketball etc It was more about DEFENSE, stopping & NOT allowing a whole bunch of SCORING just for sake of >>entertainment

Maybe because of the cameras but Kiyan was way too amped up in the first half and he suffered because of it. He got any shot he wanted but he was missing looks he usually makes and even missed a gimmie dunk. He looked more like himself in the second half
