lol watch his film. He’s horrible. People are open, he’s not getting constant pressure, & he still can’t even see the middle of the field None of the intangibles that made him excellent at Alabama translated to the professional game. The cracks are showing & all of his limitations are highlighted
I gave Bryce the benefit of the doubt last year but he has no more excuses anymore. He had more better pass blocking and dudes are actually getting open this year. The kid just looks unsettled out there, and those jump passes goddamn lol....
I still say the brown and Watson trade is still the worst trade of OAT but this is up there but I think with a rookie QB and young no matter if they sit or start they’re going to struggle to begin with to really get used to the looks and NFL speed I think it takes live game reps as a pats fan I wanted Maye to start week 1 I’m not expecting a lot of wins but see where Maye struggles in a real game work on those see what plays he likes and work well with him and also build up the chemistry with the young WR core brissett can be there to help Maye understand the offense better since he played under the OC before but this way it gives Maye experience earlier and he can learn from the mistakes he makes
Cj Stroud raised the standard of 1st year and 2nd year Quarterbacks. And to me that's unfair to Bryce or any young QB. The panthers offensive line is atrocious. Adam Theilan is a shell of himself. Xavier Leggette will be a stud eventually. Its crazy that you guys are blaming everything on a 2nd year quarterback that is arguably playing on the worst organization in the NFL. So if Andy Dalton goes out there and gets sacked 5 or 6 times and has 3 plus turnovers. Then are you gonna have the same opinion about Bryce. The kid needs time to improve. He needs to be uplifted. They are going get smacked this week I guarantee it. Andy Dalton is 36 years old and he sucks these days. You guys are thinking Dalton is gonna fix this offense because you guys are thinking Dalton is still the Red Rifle from Cinci. Yall gotta stop trying to be espn jr and be realistic.
