the interesing part is, he still manages delicate shots. right after he totally ripped it out of his shoes. this guy is experimenting all the time. and considering that, he does extremly well. this kind of attitude provides much richer content to watch than "of the shelf never change anything" golf. he is tops.
@@njd9143 He definitely is not the modern Ben Hogan lol. If anyone fits that right now its Morikawa. Bryson is the quintessential 21st century golfer though. You can't compare him to anyone before him because he's so unique and pushing the boundaries of what pro golf is.
He’s good for the game. He found a different way to play it, and he fills the villain role with Koepka well. People can hate all they want, he carved his own path to become one of the best golfers in the world.
Sarkastik TV exactly he’s a great guy. Ppl hate him but at the end of the day he is one of the smartest players of tour. Using corona to buff up and drive the ball 340 and have a good short game.
This guy deserves a lot of credit he truley has revolutionized and simplified the physics of this game. I do worry if he will have and physical damage further down the road. Guys massive hopefully he doesn’t hurt himself
It's been very interesting following Bryson over the years. I've always been a big fan and it's been crazy to see all the hate he's endured. I don't care if you don't like his personality, he's a mad scientist golfer, not a politician. We all have so much we can learn from him but so many people won't because they can't get past their own bias. I guarantee the same people who hate Bryson are the same people who laughed at me for buying an ipod in 2001. If you're reading this comment and hate Bryson i'd be interested to hear from you and know if you were an anti ipod/mac kinda person who ended up buying one at some point. You know who you are
Yes he helping promote great ideas that should have been popular to begin with People can hate his approach and style but old saying if it works for ya keep it
Not a big fan because his swing is so ugly. But I certainly give him credit. He’s damn good. I don’t give him longevity. A human’s back just isn’t designed to hold up under that much stress over the years. You’re a big wrong on that iPod thing. I was a software engineer back then and on the cutting edge of all that Apple shiat. Using an iPhone 13 right now.
Most players go through a head every full round not just because of the wear and tear but because its in their contracts/sponsorships and they need perfect equipment all the time to utilize their best game.
idk how new his heads are, but on his own yt channel he does some swing practice with friends and immediatly notices it cracking on a swing:D So he is used to break somes. I have heard that in 2021 he still uses some 2017 driver model. Imagine him with new shit, he would carry 400 it feels like:D
Thinking DeChambeau, what makes champ good is he consistently hits 315-320 carry, where Bryson is getting anywhere from 315-330, so champ is more consistent but Bryson goes longer in carry every now and then
I would argue that he dosnt have the most efficient swing! It’s all just about how much speed he can generate - mostly with his arms. Notice how he almost always finishes off balance (falling backwards) on his drives.
Honestly, these insecure, micro-penis "male" commenters on RU-vid LITERALLY have no idea what they're talking about. @Ben (You're hurt male ego is showing buddy, zip it up :) )
I find it so difficult to watch this guy! From the ugly looking 1 plane swing, to the rigid/stiff looking arms, the arm lock putter, all the awkward wiggling at address. His swing dosnt look like it has any sense of rhythm or finesse. He gets the job done, no doubt. But I find it such a shame that this is what wins in modern golf!
You might be dumb if you think an “ugly swing” or rhythm and finesse are what is important. Shame you can’t just accept he does things different and is a really good player
iPotato when did I say he wasn’t a good player!? Clearly in professional sports, winning matters most! In any sport, players do whatever they need to win. It’s the governing bodies job to decide what to allow vs what they want to discourage. In my opinion arm lock putters should be banned just like belly putters. And courses shouldn’t be rewarding huge drives so much, because it makes the game 1 dimensional. Am I dumb for having an opinion? If so, I guess we’re all dumb!
@@ipotato95 I'm with the other guy. I don't like watching him. Just throw Jason Day out there. When I watch his swing I'll imagine how good that must feel and how perfect it looks. Bryson just at setup all I can think is, that must feel gross. How he feels about it is all that matters, but still me no likey
Moe Norman. You think Bryson's swing looks bad, look at Moe Norman's. He was a mad golf savant who hit it dead straight back in the day almost 300 yards with a persimmon driver. If you look at Bryson's swing when he was young, it was a lot more traditional looking, however, he makes the change to single plane, and he wins a major.
