The Bryton Rider 15 neo doesn't have a fancy screen, and it won't keep you from getting lost on the trail. But it does offer a smart feature set, and even uploads rides to online services like Strava automatically. Plus, it's small, lightweight, and rugged enough to bang around on the mountain bike trail.
We put this $70 GPS unit to the test to see where it shines, and where it falls flat.

Insanely good value for money computer - it has accumulative altitude, continues to work in one tunnel that earlier models paused in, and the display is clearer than you can imagine relative to size, because the digits are really thick and bold. The review here was good and he noted that it updates less often than other devices - I didn’t notice that but I’d so then I suppose it will underestimate really curved mountain bike rides but should be 100% for road riding.

This sounds amazing, up until the point where I said it has more distance between tracking points, I ride Enduro and looking work a cheap way to record my runs without risking my phone. I feel like it won't rovide a reliable data on my style of rides. What do you think ?

Hard to say. This does link up with Strava so it will work for chasing KOMs. And as a stopwatch, it's super accurate. :) The # of points collected affects distance accuracy (and therefore speed as well); how noticeable this will be depends on how straight or curvy your trails are.

Correct. There is no map display on the device.

I want to be able to see HR, cadence, and Speed all in one view, possibly power down the road..would this work ?

It should be possible to customize the screens to show all of those things, just note the GPS only works with external Bluetooth sensors and not ANT+ sensors.

can you display Centigrade temp plus MPH together on the same screen?

I don't know for sure. We just reviewed the latest Bryton GPS (www.singletracks.com/mtb-gear/havent-we-been-here-before-reviewing-the-bryton-rider-s500-gps/) and on that one you can mix metric temperature and imperial speed measurements using the settings in the app. The neo 15 uses the same Bryton app so there's a good chance it works the same.

@@singletracks do you need to use a Phone app in order to change display as mine will not display anything else then Bike 1 ?!

@@alasdair50 Yes, certain settings need to be changed via the Bryton Active iPhone or Android app, not on the device itself.

Yes, you can charge it via any standard charger.
