Was confused pairing with the iphone as the cadence sensor didn't appear in the bluetooth devices & the green light only flashed a few times when spinning the crank! Checked the Strava App and added it on settings! Works great although a tight fit between the arm & the carbon frame of my Canyon Endurace.

Hi, Please Could you confirm if the dual cadence/speed smart dual sensor can be connected to my smartphone (android)? I can't find out instructions in the users manual and the mobile app does not allow me to do it (Active Bryton version 2.1.84.260). Many thanks.

Bryton, I absolutqely love my 530 Rider computer. I am going to purchase a smart cadance sensor sincr gps mode does not do this, will it still work it i make cadance sensor 2nd source and GPS 1st source? Also I would like and out front mount like I saw the cycling team has, which mount fits Bryton?
@BrytonActive
@BrytonActive 6 лет назад
Hello, I would always suggest you to go with a Bryton F-Mount which fits perfectly with all of our current Rider line computers.

For the Cadence question, smart cadence sensor would be the ONLY cadence data source, GPS doesn't provide that. or do you mean speed?
@criticalmile5631
@criticalmile5631 6 лет назад
Bryton Yes will smart cadance sensor work usning cadance sensor only and using GPS source for seed and everyting else. I figure i set bike profile source to GPS for 1st source and cadance as 2nd source on bike profile, will it, smart cadance work ok to pick up cadance if GPS is used as well?

@@criticalmile5631Sounds like you might be confused about what cadence is, it's a measure of how fast your peddles are going around, so has no influence on the GPS and it's not a replacement for it. The speed sensor can be used in conjunction with the GPS and can be more accurate the the GPS especially if you lose GPS signal you still know how fast you've been travelling.

Is there any way to know how much battery the sensors have? With bluetooth it should be possible, but I can't find it anywhere

Should there be a little separate piece of metal inside the battery place? I managed to get sensor working but had to accurately put that metal thing near the battery on a battery cup, to ensure the contact. Looks like defective to me.

Just purchased the Rider 750, removed the plastic tab on battery compartment and connected the sensors to the unit but still the speed is not working. Am i missing something?

Are you sure you have a speed sensor? I own a Rider 420. Unlike the cadence sensor, a speed sensor didn't come with the package: Your speed is by default - a least on the 420 - measured via GPS. It has the disadvantage that you have to start moving a couple of 100 meters before it detects your movement. So an additional speed sensor is advisable. Another thing I myself missed (awfully structured manual): The day and date also only sync when your device has GPS connection. I sent one back because I thought it was defective. It is mentioned in the manual alright, but somewhere hidden in the middle, while, imho, it should be the first thing mentioned in 'settings' Regards

Just wondering if the Bryton Duo Snelheids / Cadanssensor needs the sensor mounted on the bike frame if I only want to register my Cadance? Do I only need to mount the smart cadance sensor to my cranck and does it displays realtime cadance or only an avarege? Hope you can help, because your support doesn't reply. thx
@BrytonActive
@BrytonActive 6 лет назад
yap, if you own a Bryton smart cadence sensor and is looking to acquire cadence data from it, you must mount it to the crank of your bike, so you would receive cadence data (you also need to pair it with your Bryton computer). And yes, you will be receiving real-time cadence data as you started paddling.

Bryton Hi, thank you very much. I have purchased the Bryton Duo speed/cadancesenor and there is a smart cadancesensor in it and also a sensor that I need to mount on the frame of my bike. What is the purpose of that sensor? It indicates at one side "speed" and on the other side "cadance". I only receive average cadance and not realtime. Can I sent you the pictures of my setup, if that helps you.

That was a useless video. No information how to set up the placement on the bike, or connect to the computers. Just a 1 minute and 17 second powerpoint video.

Hello! Please remember to remove the battery tab before first use, then mount the sensors on the wheel or crank or wear it on the chest to activate it. You can refer to another tutorial: Bryton Rider 750 | Sensor Set Up & Use

Nor its manual, nor this video clearly indicate in which direction the speed sensor is supposed to be mounted. One would expect the frontwheel would show disc brakes so one would have a reference. But no. Completely useless video. Bryton gear is decent, but their manual/installation guides suck big time.
@BrytonActive
@BrytonActive Месяц назад
Hi there. All you need to do is mount it on the hub of the wheel (either front or rear) just as it shows at 33 seconds of thie video. And you should be able to find how to mount it in the QSG or UM.
@RogerSartet007
@RogerSartet007 Месяц назад
@@BrytonActive As if I didn't know that it goes on the hub. The video shows absolutely nothing. It shows the end result: sensor on the hub and that is it. It doesn't show any 'HOW TO' at all. The least you could do, is indicate the driving direction and if the latter doesn't matter, indicate that. Oh and now we're at it: When you do a Dutch translation of your manual, make sure EVERYTHING is translated.
