In this video, we cover how to install Oil Temp and Oil Pressure Gauges in your BRZ/FRS/GT86. Overall the process is super simple and only requires some basic wiring. The oil temp and oil pressure gauges are a great addition to the interior of the car allowing me (or any other driver) to keep an eye on the vitals.

I got 3 eluto gauges water temp oil temp oil pressure with the plate and joint for my rx8 it’s big job to fit on the dash but worth it

1/8 npt numbers for the sandwich plate thred holes to fit the sensor plugs hope that helps

I wanna do this, but I'm trying to figure out how without having to make permanent mods. I already have a sandwich plate in for my oil cooler, I wonder if I can tap into the lines already running to the cooler

I notice you connected power from both gauges to on add a fuse, do you happen to remember what size fuse you installed for them? 5A?

Hey man I bought the TRD sandwich plate but I need to use an adapter to fit the sensors, same thing you did I’m assuming. What size adapters did you use?

You'd have to change the sandwich plate. I know the mishimoto oil cooler sandwich adapter has 1/8" NPT ports and I believe a few of the other kits on the market do as well. Thanks for watching!

whats your operating oil pressure after its warmed up driving around?

Apologies for the late reply, this comment ended up marked as "Likely spam" for some reason. idle 13-15 psi and up to around 80-90 IIRX. My memory may have it a little on the high side. I'll have to pay attention on my way home from work and if it's any different, i'll update you. Thanks for watching!
