This is a joke right??? This has to be a piss take. We have taken the rifle apart and put it in a smaller case and are marketing it as a new option?? Jesus… nearly as bad as Brocock brining out a new limited edition rifle every 6-8 weeks. Running out of ideas I think!!!
Got to admit that gasram is nice looks like they have put some effort into that, be interesting to check out the trigger, I could not tell from the video but a locking breach screw would be perfect the safety is now perfectly placed.
What an absolute p1ss take, could do that with any rifle and Allen key/ socket. I hope the R12 doesn’t have the same unnecessary relief behind the stock mounting as the ultra CLX
Is this a joke! They swooped an allen bolt for a thumb bolt, i could do that on any of my rifles, & would pest controllers really want that scope!! That case didn’t look like it would fit a decent night vision setup!
...and the "take-down screw" has gained a finger-friendly knob. 🙄 Yep, or a compact carbine with a folding stock, that could fit in a case not much bigger than a flute. 🤷🏻♂️ Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
Bsa having had an r10 worse experience ,always leaking seals always going this on a gun costing nearly a thousand quid wouldn't have another given free ,,😮and now leaking at the fill port 😮
Take down? Great idea, just take a suitable sized allan key and remove the existing stock.... Have to do that with my AA400 🤔... Come on BSA, with all your engineering background surly we come up with something better than dropping a screw out??
What a B.S. Than every rifle should a take down if you remove the stock. Typical a CLX no sense selling argument again. Specially for the sneaky pest control guys........😂
I did think 'is that it?', replace an Allen screw with a thumb screw and fit it into a suitcase. 🤔 At least it's another option for BSA fans.🤷🏻♂️ Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
@uglas222 Totally agree Buddy! Even the BSA guy had problems to explain this crap. Just a thumb screw in my S410 and it's a take down 🤣🤣🤣 I wonder what that thumb screw and plastic case will cost the BSA fan.
Actually in the market for a replacement FAC and noticed the R12 in the show case on Friday but didn’t realise (old age + exhaustion) it really was a take down rifle - exactly what I’m looking for! I’d been checking out the Katran, Pathfinder etc - rifles that were light, portable and inconspicuous for pest controlling. Although I’m a BSA fan since they won’t be doing it in FAC may be nothing lost. Pleasantly surprised that BSA are at last thinking “out side of the box”. I’ve got the original AA tdr sub12 that was presented in the same style of case and that was a very useful tool, I could take it anywhere without fear of causing offence.
That has to be a joke. The defiant would probably fit in that case without the need to strip down the rifle. Very lazy design just to add a thumb screw can't see them selling many of them
Me neither TBH, but then the Defiant weighs 9lbs, so I can't see BSA selling many of those either. Not when my long-sold FX Wildcat weighs 6.5lbs and my AirMaks Krait weighs 5.5lbs un-scoped?!? Surely a pest controller would grab a short folding-stock Katran, that can fit in a very compact case? Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
