I know I’m 10 years late but Majin Vegeta’s ult was a Super Explosive wave and it was the coolest one at that. “Goodbye Bulma, Trunks, and even you, Kakarot.” It got me every time.
Manoyal Regardless, it still has all the properties of a super explosive wave. The only differences with this one are that it costs you all but 1hp and that it’s unblockable
A couple of dbz games are honestly. 4 moves, every single fight being in the sky, lack of a true beam struggles etc. Fighterz, Tenkaichi 3, Budokai 3 are more exciting to play than xenoverse
Hm actually one of my favorite non-ultimate moves is the Taption forward-Triangle "Brave Slash". In general I really like fighting as Tapion. People get so mad when you troll them with his shield haha
(I'm late lol) I know, right? And together with Piccolo (early) he is one of the best characters IMO. Only things that drag him down is his charging speed and his throw (talking about Tapion). His throw is bad gameplay-wise because it throws them in an angle to high to follow the throw with a blast, and his charge speed is slow. But his Brave Cannon costs only 2 ki bars and is relatively big and fast, it can also clash with other beams so that's nice. As you said his Brave Slash is just mean, it can stop anything that isn't a ki attack. His ultimate works against giants and it's complemented by his easy "Heavy Finish" that can be done by hitting an opponent once with Square and then pressing Triangle, which stuns them and forces them to take the attack, not to mention it deals a ton of damage and looks really cool. His weak ki attacks (by just pressing triangle) are just trolly, by holding triangle you throw a sword slash that's unblockable and WILL stun you or drop you to the ground. And as you said his barrier is just an asshole move, it can block literally anything and only costs 1 stock. As for Piccolo, his ki charge is really fast, his "Explosive Demon Wave" is pretty standard but easy to use since he charges fast. He has a solid rush that tracks and his ultimate I think is unblockable, but the real thing is that it deals a ton of damage. His throw does send enemies flying at a high angle, but it's actually possible to follow up with either a rush or blast. And while his weak ki blasts are "meh" his punches are actually REALLY good. If you notice, he is one of the few characters who punches once for every time you hit square and one of the few who has different triangle follow-ups to his combo. What I mean is, that pressing square and triangle will do different things depending on the amount of times you press triangle, but other characters will have at least one of those moves repeated, and you can't do that same move twice, so it's wasted. With Piccolo since his triangle follow ups are different he can use them all in a single combo which can lead to a lotta damage.
It's good to see another Raditz fan. And I agree when you say that he finally has a cool attack. You really like to apreciate the attack affects, I thought that I was the only one.
4:58 I feel like someone at Spike Chunsoft was a huge fan of the Super Explosive Wave (AKA Super Ki Explosion in Dimps' Xenoverse 2). Also, Super 13’s S.S. Deadly Bomber here was _comically_ oversized. Music (that I know of): Slam Shuffle by Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy 6) Super Saiyan 3 Power Up by Bruce Faulconer (Dragon Ball Z)
U have some really great movies there bud, and awsome arguementation. The only problem is that the quotes on the buttom are sometimes so funny i miss a part of the movie and have to rewind it a bit :D
I think Tapion should get an honorable mention. Not only is he throwing cool ki slashes emanating from his sword, it's also a pretty handy move. Saved me quite a few times in missions and allowed me to finally get King Cold by winning the Cell Games on hard mode.
I much preferred budokai 3's version of nappa's 'volcano explosion'. It looks exactly the way it did in the anime with a huge explosion along with clouds of smoke. Oh yeah thanks for putting in the ssj3 theme at 4 minutes, I love that song.
@Omega2040 why didnt you add pilaf machines fusion gatlin gun (however u spell it) with super 17's hell storm the nearly just alike and also whats your favorite explosion wave in appearence not size or power
S.S. Bomber requires a multi-vanish at mid-long range and requires you to block before the attack animation if you're point-blank(normally you can do it during or after the animation). Just some added info.
my brother finds 17 hells storm weak why if you toss a kamehameha at them hen he does it he takes damage form the kamehameha since he has to put his hand back on
@BigT4389 No, the headband doesn't restrain his powers, it just keeps him under control, hence the calmer/not super saiyan look. Normally Broly would be very aggressive but with the headband on, he isn't.
Hirudegarns is massive! And they are very purdy too! I would have put it at No.4 on the list but i feel they are true to the series in the amount of damage done.
how did you get broly super sayain to be blond at 5:05 - 5:09. because knew super sayain broly only had blue hair, and legendary super sayain broly had blond hair.
i remember when i first faced Super 17's hell storm, i was trying to charge up my ki, i thought it was a beam so i moved aside a bit to continue charging, imagine my surprise when he followed me XD
The explosive wave fits because he actually used it to block one of Goku's attack, but yes. I do feel that there could've been something else he couldve had, but i cant think of what.
