Honestly so excited that you've returned to doing these moveset videos, I ate them up back when you were making them for BT3, RB/2, and the Storm games. I hope you continue to do these and if you're planning on doing them for Sparking Zero it would be amazing.
Light Grenade not only is clearly his Ultimate Attack (being his last resort to atop Cell and 17 deciding to get the hell away rather than try his barrier once more) but it works a hell lot better than Hellzone Grenade often does. Fuck originality, I rather have my Ultimate work well and consistently.
He's saying "Fury Bullet". Because, in one of the Japanese episode titles, this move is called "Gekiretsu Kodan", which roughly translates to "Fury Light Bullet" (or something like that).
The fact that there's only gonna be one Piccolo in SZ and he's not gonna have Light Grenade or Hellzone Grenade is so weird. Maybe they're saving them for Super Hero Piccolo since he didn't really fight in base in that movie.
For as cool as the attack is, Hellzone Grenade probably should’ve just been a rush attack with a small combo at the start, kinda like how it was in the Budokai games. Trying to hit with it in most games kinda sucked cause the tracking was bad and more often than not half the ki blasts would hit the ground or something. It also never did make sense to me that it was his ultimate in most games when Light Grenade was clearly his most powerful attack, glad FighterZ finally did the move well.
I’m curious how his moveset will work in SZ. I’m guessing there will be a “fuse with Nail/Kami” item that changes his moves because I doubt they would only have his Saiyan arc moveset.
If there is one thing I'd wish for Piccolo to have, is more stretchy-arm-moves. Like imagine putting your arms in the ground, they come out where the enemy is and if they grab them, you do a mouth blast.
My only tiny complain about his moveset is his Bakuretsu Mahoko/Explosive Breath Cannon in the Raging Blast games. I kinda wish they didn't cut his attack animation so short compared to Tenkaichi 3. But other than that, still love that rush.
There's going to be alt costumes with different movesets, as well as some accessories that also add new supers, so I'm sure that'll help out a bit. Piccolo's default in Sparking Zero seems to be based on BT3's Piccolo (Early), so I'm sure he'll have another alt that has his (End) moveset, and third one that'll have his RB attacks.
