My daughter convinced me to take her from Las Vegas to LA to see BTS in 2018. I went with an open mind as a metal fan. I left their show blown away AF! Their energy is unmatched and I was left wanting more. We have seen them live twice since then and still have tickets to two of their upcoming shows in California and Texas. Yes, they are that great!
I took my granddaughter to LA in 2018. And although I was introduced and learned all about them in the year before due to my granddaughter insisting I watch every video they ever made, I really love them. Then I saw them live…..I was blown away! I was 58 at the time….I have seen Bowie, the Stones,…….I can’t list them all…..but I was never as entertained or felt more appreciated then when I saw BTS! I have seen them 3 times since…got to meet them thanks to a friend who had connections…..and will be seeing them in Las Vegas on April 8th! (Had tickets to PTD in Dec, but emergency surgery in October stifled me for that one). I will forever love them!
It's usually salty antis that try to go on about how BTS is "overrated." BTS are perfectly rated artists who put in years of hard work, dedication and passion to get to where they are today.
Yep, just like you said, its either the salty antis, or ppl who know nothing abt them at all and just go off of their own stereotypical and judgemental opinions
sir, i applaud your genuine appreciation for the intricacies of a song. i'm sure you're just as appreciative of things in all aspects of life. i just really enjoy your input on things. so honest and descriptive
I strongly recommend "Black Swan" from BTS - here the message is about losing one's passion and for BTS it means losing their purpose to create meaningful music
There are 2 versions tho released by BigHit - one with the BTS MV and one with the Art Film performed by MN Dance Company (orchestra version). Both are equally beautiful and heart-warming, the lyrics and its meaning have pierced through a lot of hearts esp those in the performing arts - dance and music :) Black swan is an underrated masterpiece from BTS! You can also check their Black Swan live performance during Jimmy Fallon's BTS week. The set was so beautiful + the amazing live performance :) They have a very wide discography + their B-sides are filled with meaningful lyrics as well (actually all their songs) - you might want to hear First Love (about Suga's first love for music/piano), So far away, Paradise, Sea, Magic Shop, Answer: Love Yourself ❤ Looking forward for more BTS rections! :)
Being that you've mostly only reacted to their few instances of pure pop, I'm not surprised this one hit you hard. BTS started as a rap/hiphop group that segued into an idol group. ON is the grown up version of where they started, after a whole lot of internal reflection and growth. I stan a lot of groups, but when it comes to depth, messaging and versatility, BTS is king. Check out Fake Love... it's the epitome of lyrics, choreography, production and execution perfectly coming together in a music video.
BTS also performed ON on Jimmy Fallon, Grand Central Station, 2-4am with NY backup dancers. They went thru it 4 times in a row. BTS said they never would have made it if the backup dancers hadn’t worked to furnish energy, yells, etc. The finished product is really thrilling, watching all the dancers trying to help bring it home. I highly recommend you take a look.
I like this more than the mv. I’m not even an Army but this pretty much has to be one of the most epic performance videos in existence.. 💙 Oh and - dude who came in first: Jimin - fire autotune rapper: Suga (Yoongi) - cool purple haired rapper dude: RM (Namjoon) - majestic high note bridge guy: Jungkook - Scratchy voiced awesome dancer noice rapper: J-hope (Hoseok) - Tall handsome dude with satisfying voice and a denim jacket I wanna steal: Jin - Terrifyingly goodlooking dude in all white with luscious wavy black hair: Taehyung
dude that one bts video is the one i always go back to,,,, jin and rm stealing the whole screen, completely owning their parts with mastery….v with his captivating charm with facial expressions, neck tattoo and smooth dancing… jimin going all out and you can feel the song through his body and it’s so powerful, sugas intensity during the dance break, hobis confidence and sunshine that makes my day… jungkooks impressive vocals and sharp dance is breathtaking,
I know this is an "old" video and this has probably said before but "come prima" is music notation and it means "like at the beginning", which connects this song with "N.O" from their debut album, and it al makes sense since "7" was an album to celebrate the seven years together and they wanted to reminisce all those times when they just started
I have fibromyalgia and this immediately became my fibro fighting song. I work full time, so anytime I feel a flare up coming on I play this song in my head or on my phone to keep going. Bring the pain!
to be honest these guys helped me trough so many hard times with their music and personality of course im a multi stan and also say other groups should get also as much attention but they will always have a huge place in my heart. How they support thinks like blm, climate change, young people, women empowerments etc is just wow.Their musicvideos often have hidden messages and are connected to a huge story and on the other hand they are still just crackheads. They produce and write most oft the songs on their own soooooo must stan them
Yeah, there are various other talented groups out there with specific mvs and performances that deserve a similar amount of popularity. Still, taking everything about BTS overall (artistry, passion, growth over the years, etc) into consideration, BTS does deserve their current role as the number one Korean artists worldwide.
2:44 That face all armys make when they first realize that BTS is more than Dynamite and Boy with Luv (which they go back and appreciate more after becoming army). 😲
BTS Is the absolute best!! At everything!! You haven't even touched on what BTS has been, has done, up to now. There is a storyline with BTS songs & you would have to waaayyy back to learn, see, & hear their songs up to now. So you can fully appreciate their talent, who they are & what they stand for.
When you were talking about your emotions with music, it hit me that no other artist/artists move me like bts. their incredibly inspirational starting from their backstory's, and continuing to where they are now. The language barrier doesn't matter because just even the melody's are beautiful. Their great people and I cant wait to watch them keep growing.
You will never find a more genuine bunch. Their music smacks you to get your attention and lyrically grabs hold of your heart . you hear and feel it with every song.
you had so many priceless comments! some funny, some heartfelt, and i loved it. i also, like you said, sometimes a song (and if it’s bts then their mv’s too) moves me deeply, almost like a wake up call to how much music means to me… it’s been many months since u saw this, but i wish i could have asked u more about bts’s full out dancing here-to me i practically can’t breathe watching it bc it’s epic!!! btw, on jimmy fallon, they even danced this in grand central station in one go, and omg their effort and talent!!🤌👏🙌
Fam they jus made the Guinness Book if world records for THE SECOND TIME 🎉 our boys are literally the best & biggest in the world as is their ARMY if you learn their back story & who they are it makes their greatness even more phenomenal ✨️ they out here saving lives , changing the world with their music & acts too along with us ,& their the Sweetest most humble boys Eva it's crazy 🫰 they both done either they will be standing together on a stage soon 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
It took them 2 days to film it...in the hot sun...in hot leather jackets ...with many many takes...and makeup redos because of all their sweating and V got hurt...his jacket's zipper flew up and hit him in the face!!! Longest run on sentence ever. Trivia...Suga wrote the dance break. The girl in the middle....in the front row...the first shot is the choreographer. That is her dance troupe. The UCLA band was hired for all the band music, accompaniment, and drums!! BTS never got to perform this live on stage for fans because the pandemic hit and their tour was cancelled. When they came to L.A. recently it was the first on their list to perform live!!! Why am I making notes on your old post? I just subscribed and came to your list to see what all BTS music you had reacted to. Wanted to make sure you saw "On". It's my favorite. I didn't know anything about BTS, but on February 24, 2020 I turned on the Jimmy Fallon show where he introduced them performing "On" at Grand Central Station in NYC! I was overwhelmed at the professional production, precision in dancing, their talent, and the top notch performance they delivered. I found out later they did 3 to 4 takes to get it perfect on film. You know they gave 100% every time. From that day forward I have watched BTS content online. Have you ever watched their TV show RunBTS? It's fantastic. They are silly, crazy, funny, hysterical, and comedians. South Korea is big on participation game shows. It's kind of their own version of it. Anyway, more BTS please. There are so many famous songs you haven't reacted to yet!!!! Enjoy the journey. Your newest subscriber.
yess BTS is not overrated, fans of other groups say that because they are bothered by their success. They come from below and now they are on top. All their success is not for nothing, they always bring and use different concepts, they are always innovating in their music. Not to mention that always from the beginning they participate in the writing and production of their songs, it is not so common in kpop groups & They have songs of many genres, more than any other. They touch on social issues, empowerment, self love, and much more. There is also the fact that his entire discography is connected in a certain way, with his story lines. Basing his discography on books, including psychology books. Behind BTS there is SO MUCH. Everything they do is for a reason, nothing is empty. They are where they deserve.
I know this is an old video but I just discovered your videos & I love love love how you take the time to understand the lyrics & the whole of them! I looked into them because of the song Butter but I truly started to Stan them because of On. I listen to music primarily because of the lyrics & BTS always nails it. They have such a presence & thank you for taking the time to understand it!
This is what it means to have passion for what you do and love for your fans & everyone that supports you💜 BTS are not overrated lol they are underrated bc they deserve so much & yes their the biggest thing in the whole entire world but are yet very disrespected for doing what they love.
YAS I been marathoning your videos all night and you finally got to THIS.. I been into K-pop since SNSD and 2NE1 (2010) and by far my favorite has been BTS so I can't wait for the treats in store for u A few videos ago u mentioned ppl shading K-pop reactors but who cares most of us who love music also love watching others go through a very similar journey while discovering K-pop (while at the same time watching/listening to our favorite songs).. I know I'm late to your channel but yay thanks for sharing your journey with us
The way he looks at the video, he looks at them and his reaction in all literally I feel like yh someone finally relates to me after all these years 😢 the beauty of 💜𝗕𝗧𝗦⟭⟬💜 is just I hope u react to some of their old songs like spring day, save me, mic drop or even bulletprrof
You should definitely check out the mini docu they put out for the work that went on to create this masterpiece its about 30 minutes long but so insightful as to the process and the work that went into this comeback
Haters will always be salty and say BTS is overrated coz they literally PAVED THE WAY! They aren't kpop, they are BTS! Stay mad sad little ppl hating on 7 guys that literally SAVED their own LIVES with music and also their fans' 💜 I'm still here only bc of them
I have the feeling you will love the second MV for this song. They did 2 music videos, one focusing on choreography which is this Kinetic Manifesto version, and the second focusing on a fantastical journey about life, death, and resurrection, with Jungkook escaping from slavery to freedom. It's amazing.
8:43 - Yessir. Jimin is my bias. Black belt in Taekwondo, a kendoka, a contemporary dancer, and the voice of an angel. RM is my biaswrecker because of that damned intellect.
If you're pressed by this being filmed in one day you should know they performed this in one take in grand central for jimmy fallon show, choreography, live singing and all
this has absolutely nothing to do with the reaction but i just needed to comment how cute the lil dud running animation that you put, it's just sort of adorable and it makes me smile :D
Bts is so goodd, if you want a song with a beautiful story you have to react to "spring day" from bts but you have to react to the explanation video firts and then the music video. The lyrics en meaning is very very beautiful. I know you will like it😍😍 emotional tho but beautiful 😢 I’m sorry but I forget to say that you have to watch this one live on jimmy Fallon you will feel all there energie of this song😎😎
