boy meets evil was the song that made me interested in BTS. it’s such a great song, so emotional and kinda raw, but in the nicest way possible. the choreo too, j-hope is so freaking talanted it’s actually insane. 💀 he and jimin performed that song in 2016 MAMA, it was an AMAZING stage, if you could react to that pls consider!! it has Boy Meets Evil, Lie, BS&T and Fire. they actually got their first grand prize at that award show, so it’s really memorable for them and the army. 💜

Comeback trailers are basically the intro to the albums, back in the days started with the rap line doing the intros together or separately, then on Love Yourself Era was the vocal line doing the intro to some or just being the ones on the comeback trailer (on love yourself era not all were for the intro) and then on Map Of The Soul it came back to the rap line!! Boy meets evil is still one of my fav song/ perf by J Hope. It's so unique, and J Hope shows off his versatility here. Unlike other bands BTS - starting from the Wings album in 2015 - featured solos for all 7 members. And not as an album filler either. The solo songs would become the pre release track for many future albums too. I love how they incorporate solo so well into a group setting.

Jhope has also released his solo album “jack inthe box” with songs: “ More” and “ Arson” right after when they announced to go for hiatus,these songs are like🔥🔥🔥 and their MVs are sooo good, he has also performed them in MAMA 2022. Boy meets Evil from J-Hope was released 2016 as the comeback trailer and appears as the first track for their second studio album Wings. This album contains solo songs of the BTS members: Begin-JK, Stigma-V, Lie-Jimin, Mama-Jhope, Reflection-RM, FirstLove-Suga & Awake-Jin. Before they released the Album, they also released short films for each individual songs. Just beautiful. My personal favorite is Awake. I still play it every morning when I wake up😂. This is actually the intro song for wings album. Before this is actually the most beautiful moment in life pt 2 album and the intro song (never mind) sang by suga and it got a animation mv too. RM also sang the intro song for the previous album. For Love yourself series, vocal line are the one singing the intro song. After LY series, intro song back to RM(persona), suga(shadow) and jhope(ego). They just take turn to sing the intro song for each album

Watch 2016 MAMA Boy meets Evil Jhope and Jimin dance together, Jimin dances blindfolded. The performance video is 12 minutes long because they also perform Blood Sweat and Tears and end with Fire. Make sure if you watch this you choose the 12min one cause other versions only have Boy meets Evil and BST. Fire live is so good.

boy meets evil is the intro song for the wings album. these songs are still named under bts bc they are included in the bts discography, whether they're an intro, interlude, outro or solo/unit track within bts albums. same w/ singularity, serendipity, epiphany, persona, shadow, ego & etc. ofc you can count those as their projects too as a solo artist BUT most likely these songs are linked to what the group wants to send through the album, which may or might not reflect their views as an individual which they are doing to their official solo projects/albums [rapline's mixtapes & the official solo albums that started last yr w jitb]

I am so happy now that you have started the "WINGS" era. The era that made the world so hooked up and so in love with BTS. I believe that this is really the era that armies truly unleashed our inner "Sherlock Holmes" in every possible way. It is also a BTS thing to release comeback trailers in every albums or "comebacks" even before wings era till present. Comeback trailer is usually a solo performance and each member gets to perform that could truly show their individual talent and uniqueness. It also gives us a sneak peek or snippets of what the the theme or vibe of the album would be before releasing the main title track or other songs in the album. Each BTS boy has done a solo that is the comeback for one of the albums. Hahahah, this is the "Primos and wives" comeback. I dream of the day that we can see together the Hobipalloza concert. It was beyond fantastic. The live band amazing and he was fantastic.

the way the bangtan album intro thing started was from their 1st full album 'dark & wild' where namjoon had a fully solo intro (he had had a couple either spoken-word or lowkey tracks before, but this was the first actual SONG song he had done). so, for their next two albums (hyyh part 1 & 2), yoongi did the solo intros in an effort to balance out the rapline's solo tracks. therefore, when 'wings' came around, it was obvious that hobi would now get to do the solo intro to the album, & he absolutely killed it, as you can see. (the reason that you guys haven't watched the namjoon or yoongi solos is probably because they only have animated music videos, not actual ones like this does) hope this helped despite being long!!

The Wings album started the solos on BTS' albums giving each member their time to shine. They were still so young and it gave each member their own individual "voice." Don't know how many videos will come up in your timeline list, so maybe it's time to start the polls again for b-sides.

Jhope is an incredible dancer, singer and rapper. He can do it all!! I miss him 😢. Wings short films rections would be great now that you have seen boy meets evil and blood sweat and tears. There is a lot to analyze. It's all part of BU. Make sure to have the subtitles and look at the lyrics before reacting too. You will miss to much stuff if you read and watch at the same time.

Basically, for quite a few of their albums, as a kind of trailer for the album before it’s release and to announce that their coming back, one member has a solo song that somewhat encapsulates the idea/theme of the album to come! So before this one Namjoon had Intro: What am I To You, for Dark and Wild, and Yoongi had Intro: Nevermind for The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt. 2. After this one the other members have solo intro songs in future albums as well but I won’t spoil which member does which😉

This song is part of the Wings album, it’s just that it’s an intro for it. If you look through the album, it’s the first time each member has their own solo songs within the album. (P.S. this album is a masterpiece and I wish you would react to it sometime. They have an intro and outro song to most of their albums.
