you were kidding about the "oh, you're making a sandwich? let me grab the camera!!" thing, but that's basically what their behind the scenes content has been and what they've been doing for 10 years, no joke. filming a bunch of the randomest things ever, from them eating ice cream to them chatting about random stuff while doing their various schedules. those type of short-ish videos are called bangtan bombs. i miss them so much.

I think Jin just wrote this with random English lyrics to match the melody as a demo, this is not a polished complete song as you guys can tell. Same goes with the rest of the PROOF CD3 demos. There are a bunch of demos in CD3. Even DNA (J-Hope) and Spring Day (V) feel like totally different songs. So the CD3 list of demos: 01. Jump (Demo Ver.) 02. Epiphany is one of my favorite songs of all time and the demo version hits different. No matter how much I listen to it I never get sick of it, Jin’s vocals and the lyrics are everything 😭 he created a masterpiece, we miss you worldwide handsome and we’re so proud of you, you’ve come along way🥹💜

You can tell how much Jin has improved on his voice by listening to these practices. His voice teacher discovered he had a hidden talent, a hidden voice inside him. But per his teacher, once he found out he had a voice he became her hardest working student she has ever had. And her favorite! He is still in touch with her and invites her to concerts. If you don't know your voice is a musical instrument and has to be practiced just like any other physical musical instrument like the piano and guitar. So if you think Jin and the other members don't continue to practice...you would be wrong. In fact...my opinion...Jin's voice just seems to get better and better. Actually that's true for all of them. Jimin is actively taking voice lessons right now. Suga took them before his D-Day concert tour. So Kudos to Jin and all of them. Will they be a little rustly after serving in the military? Possibly. But another important practice for a singer is to go voice silent for awhile and not overdo or over use one's vocal chords. Many musical theatre performers who perform 8 shows a week do NOT talk between performances. Amyway, Jin is my favorite. I fell in Love with his voice when I heard him "belt" two words in "House of Cards". "No way, No way". Singing notes in your head voice range with the power and strength of your chest voice is called belting. Jin is the only member with this skill. Being a musical theatre director and actress I noticed it right away. Please understand. This does not diminish my admiration of the amazing beautiful voices of the other guys. In " Take Two" Jin elevates the song to a new height in the middle when he belts out his part. I personally want Jin to do an album with covers songs about the Moon. "Moon River", "Fly Me to the Moon", "Blue Moon", and others. Thank you CCW for this special reaction to Jin, my favorite.

Ok, so to understand what this demo is, you need to know how the guys and Big Hit work. When they are working on a new album, the guys start sending to the production team of Big Hit either lyrics, melodies, beats, etc. The production team goes over all they have sent and they decide what fits better with the concept and everything. Sometimes songs have parts from more of one member. There are songs where the chorus was composed by one of them, the bridge by other member and so on. Suga once said that he sees it as a boot camp where all of them (including the production team) send a lot of ideas. So sometimes one member composes a melody for one song but at the end, the production team choses another one, so it is not released. That's what happened with this and with the other demos you can find on the 3rd CD of Proof. In this case, this version of epiphany is the one Jin composed, but in the end they used another one for the final version of the song.

Seokjin is truly one of the most amazing and talented people i've ever seen, he literally built his career from scratch and learned to dance and sing like an angel, his vocal coaches and critics always say how he grew so quickly it amazed them. You would never know how new he was to the field if people didnt say so because he is so professional and his voice is so beautiful, and he such charisma. Jimin said himself how JIn has the highest range in the group, Jk said at one point JIn was so talented he was good enough to be the main vocalist, the gammys even gave Seokjin the nickname 'The Silver Voice' because of his silvery and angelic tones, Jin is very humble when it comes to his accolades but his music if my favorite when it comes to solos. Check out his cover "I love you" and his solo song "Tonight" two songs that have hit my heart so hard I cry whenever I hear them. I'm so happy you checked out the demo though, it was completely created by Jin, the melody and lyrics, while the final product was altered- thats why I prefer the demo tbh but both songs hit hard because of the mantra of self love and vulnerability Jin expresses. Ughhhh I just love Jin so much, there is so much to him and Im always thrilled to see more people see how talented he is.

Jin is so epic. I’ve never seen a superstar practicing with a karaoke mic stuck in his shirt but still sounds amazing! 😂💜

If I am not wrong, jin actually didn’t play piano before Epiphany. He especially learns piano to perform this song in the concerts even though Jin could just act and impress everyone with the “perfect” playing. But he chose to spend time practicing and doing it for Army, that makes the song and his live performances amazing more. One other fact that Jin actually can play guitar quite well and he played Boy in love acoustic version in their earlier concert. But recently he rarely plays it before camera so new Armies might not know. I hope he can play guitar again in Bts concert after their enlistments. 💜💜💜

I feel like I hear a lot of indie pop rock in the demo version, and I would absolutely lose it if that's what his solo album is like. Jin's solos are consistently among my favorite of the group, and I think his album is going to be fire.

It was revealed that the Epiphany that was released was re-made by BangPD bec it matched the album concept more than what Jin wrote. Jin said he was disappointed but it's ok bec it's for the group. Im just happy they released it last yr. You watched an illegal link LMAO bec it's on CD3. Life goes on on Suga's album was also the demo version he made for LGO on BE Album. He saved it bec he liked it very much that he wanted to include it on his own album. He really thought it'll be picked, but it wasnt. Hehe They do this, everyone has the chance to give demos, and some parts will be picked some wont. Some parts of suga's lgo was picked & it was the part he & jhope sang in bts' lgo. PROOF album is their anthology album. It has 3 cds. CD1: significant song hits throughout the years, CD2: songs specifically chosen by BTS themselves like their contrasting fave songs but are also a part of their past albums. CD3: the demos of some songs, chosen by the members too. This Proof album is like a brief history and a look back into their career.

The Epiphany demo is not a new version of the song, it is the literal demo that Jin recorded prior to the release of official version. The melody in the demo version was written by Jin and the lyrics are nonsense place holders, just to give him syllables to sing. BTS and their production team ultimately decided to use the version we know so well, but this version is also so beautiful and really highlights Jin's amazing voice. I remember watching the last LYSY concert and thinking, "Is this the last performance we'll see of this song?" and tearing up even more than I usually do. I think this song means as much to Jin as it does to us.

I love epiphany, but the demo version just hits so different. The first time I heard it I cried like a baby. Jin is quite a masterful composer and often overlooked.

The demo versions on Proof CD3 are basically their version of songs that were not selected for the final song. So this Epiphany has the melody that Jin wrote that did not get selected in the end. The lyrics are just placeholders so they use random words, they are not meant to be the final lyrics. Thats why the songs are CD only, they're not completed songs. Proof CD3 has so many gems, I hope you react to all of them!

The mic shoved in his shirt is the most Jin thing ever hahaha ALSO, I don't know if anyone has recommended it yet but eventually it would be cute to see you guys react to the "Making of BT21/BT21 Universe" episodes where the members assist in creating their own BT21 characters if you haven't come across them already. Amazing how ones tone of voice changes with different languages. Daniel sounds different in English and Spanish. That is why I love Japanese BTS´s songs. Their tones turn so sweet. I´ve been ARMY for 3 years, still haven´t gone into the BU. Hahahh. All the demos on the PROOF album are so much fun. Such hard work to record demos after demos until they get the final song.

The Cd#3 of Proof is just full of gems like this! BTS submit demo versions of the songs after the beat is given to them to build upon. They mebtionedbefore thst they have like a year long songcamp. And then they choose what becomes the final song from the submissions. This Epiphany version is one of my faves from cd3. 😍😍 BTS are just so talented.

Epiphany was the first ever song I heard of Jin when I became an Army & from then till now it still makes me cry whenever I listen to it. The lyrics are so beautiful but his voice makes it more meaningful. But when the demo version was out I listened to it more than I listened to the original song. It felt so different yet so similar. this is a demo of his own melody and lyrics were just placeholder. it was the Bang PD version (the Epiphany now) that was released. Jin was disappointed and this demo was put on the back burner. but since Proof album featured their demos, he included this. Hope this original Jin version be included in his solo album after his military service. Am sure the lyrics will be polished. The recording of this demo was not the usual one with all the technology etc.

Epiphany demo version is not on streaming platforms along with the other demos and the new songs on proof they put it on the cd since proof is an anthology album also a demo is the version that the boys works on before the final version the company chooses which version to put it out imagine the treasures they have of songs they worked on that's not released I want them all

The lyrics in the demo version are so-called place holder lyrics, so not the final ones. The demo version was the one Jin himself wrote and when Bang PD chose another version Jin was quite sad about it according to RM. So when they each had to choose songs for the third cd of the Proof album (which is sadly not available for streaming) Jin chose his own melody for Epiphany which I'm really grateful for. I think it's very clear that he wrote it because it utilizes his voice perfectly. 💜

Epiphany is one of those songs you just have to hear performed live. I want to experience hearing it live at one of their future concerts and I would probably start balling bc it’s makes you feel emotional 😭

Epiphany one of the most beautiful BTS song and most loved and Jin the most icon member who is always on point live which is amazing for someone who never sang before being a member. He worked hard on his vocals and it has paid off even though he probably is the most underrated due to V and Jimin having unusual voices and Jungkook being so perfect. Only Jin though can belt a song and he has the widest range and along with Jungkook the most stable live. I think personally he as the best falsetto also and is the one that can sing with the most emotion which is why of course he can sing ballads so well. He uses his acting training as he has a degree in film and arts and was training to be an actor when he joined BTS and of course finished his degree and also a Masters in the same subject, to portray emotions in songs. I love the demo version and his English diction is clear, though the words are a bit nonsensical because it’s just the demo. I sincerely hope when he completes an album he is able to place a completed version of this song on it as it is so beautiful. Thank you for your review of this amazing man and his songs, the one who has always pushed the others before him because of his unselfish nature yet to me shines more brightly. 💜💜💜💜

The mic "shower cap" lol is actually like a mic filter to eliminate popping sounds or it won't be so airy when you sing into the mic, you know the net thing that's in between the singer and microphone in recording studios? Their demos (that we've been shown at least) are usually more to showcase the melody/beat than lyrics so most of the time the lyrics will just be random words put together 😂. Also I believe this was the melody that jin made for epiphany but another was decided for the final version.

Holaaaaa! This version of the song it's in the 3rd CD of the album PROOF ❤😊 in that CD are a lot of demo versions of their songs

These demo versions were released in the proof album in cd3 as sort of a gift for fans. these include all the previous songs that were being considered along with the actual songs that were released and we know of. but for some reasons these demos were not chosen then and so were released as unpolished songs in cd 3.

yes, 2022 the demo version because you already heard a bit of that when they reacted to "PROOF LIVE 2022" when before they sang "For Youth" the song that Abigail cried with, they explained that their album Proof was being released, the first cd contains the history of the group of all those 9 years, the second cd are hits but individual songs or some combinations and the third cd contains the demo versions of some songs that have appeared on their previous albums

Jin wrote the real original "Ephinany" song with melody and lyrics. I guess Big Hit didn't like it and rewrote it. His version wasn't marketable???? But notice they kept Jin's ending. I love his version. I am glad they put this "demo" on the album. And gave him credit. I would Love to hear a full orchestrated version and see a creative MV produced with His Original Song. It's beautiful just the way it is! Don't ya'll agree??? It is so gorgeous! With this song you Must Understand why I LOVE his voice! Oh, and he is Gorgeous too! And yes, I changed my profile pic to his pic to honor him and think of him everyday as he serves in the military.
