Hello. Lovely reaction as usual. Please ignore toxic fans of all fandoms. They are very common everywhere and all they do is just make the atmosphere toxic thinking that this way they can prove their existence and maybe they can deter people from reacting to groups they don't like. Immature and childish behaviour. Peace from an ARMY who does NOT think your enjoyment of BTS is for clout. If anybody tells you so, they are not ARMY. Thanks :)

As an ARMY since pre-debut, Please please please don't let the toxic fans poison you. We tend to be protective because of the hell they had to go through coming up with an underdog company but thats no excuse to be rude or ignore that people like to listen to other groups also. We support you and will watch whatever you post. Thank you for showing our boys love!

Ah yes, BTS has had a tough past and miraculously rose above it all and became the best selling and most successful korean artist of all time...literally (and this isn’t biased or to start fan wars, this is just based off the numbers and facts) So ARMYs do tend to be very protective of BTS bc of our collective experience as BTS fans. All in all tho, ARMY is very loving and welcoming to newcomers. They do hate when you compare BTS to anyone tho (again bc of BTS’ past and what they had to do to reach where they are today). Still though I’d assume the ones that are bothering you are probably 12 year olds bc true ARMY never get mad at people who are listening to the boys music and being genuine (like you said, you guys aren’t trying to clout chase)

They decided to honor their roots with this track. It has lots of traditional Korean dances, Korean percussion instruments, and historical Korean chants...you might notice them shouting "URSU!" a lot...that's like an old school Korean "let's get it!" lol You might check out an explained video on RU-vid for your patreon on this track, it's pretty interesting.

Yeah but also it's about their identity as artists. They are Korean musicians. They haven't been Westernised despite what people say about them. They aren't just 'idols' they're 7 talented men who aren't just involved in kpop. Call them idols, whatever, they know who they are and it won't be something they let drag them down. 💜

There is a whole story behind it, related to discography. It's a video of BTS celebrating after a journey of self-love discovery and acceptance. At the same time, it's for those haters who said they used a lot of green screen (when it's not really that often), so they purposely used a lot of special effects. The haters also said that they were forgetting their country and their culture. So in the video they wear traditional Korean clothes and there are various references to the culture.

ARMY means well, even if some of us are rather extreme at times. we are defensive and protective over BTS due to situations in the past involving other groups and companies before BTS took over globally. how they are presented to people and how people respond to them can be a sensitive subject at times, as a lot of people react to them and use them for their own promotion. we honestly just want to make sure that BTS is treated respectfully and that the right information is spread about them. as long as you're honest and genuine, ARMY will understand. on a side note, I enjoyed your reaction and I'm glad that you are interested in exploring the boys more in depth--they have a lot to offer, both in terms of music and message. self-love is a huge thing for them. i look forward to your next video!

@@KaterynaM_UA yes, that’s true but at the time the phrase “other groups” is what came to mind because i already know that it’s the fans so i don’t always think about making a distinction. if it’s something they decide to explore on their own, they’ll see that and other armys will make sure that everything is explained clearly. sometimes it’s hard to separate the fans from the group because they are so involved with and influenced by each other

You both have been very appreciative about BTS and also very respectful, so I cannot imagine any person wrote to you complaining about anything. The fans of bts are in a comfortable position because bts are doing well. They have no need to complain or fight. So anyone calling themselves army and being toxic is pretending to be a fan. The only time armys speak up is when anyone is being disrespectful, xenophobic or homophobic about bts. Armys dont mind if people dont like bts music. One has the right to ones taste. Armys are great. If you really want to know the character of armys check out, Xceleste video about army. She also has one video called Hardships of bts. Videos of xceleste are reliable.

@RS-oy6bz
@RS-oy6bz 3 года назад
@@AramasG sure. Like all other fandoms. Including sports. Maturer armys form a greater percentage than very young ones. Of course, being the largest fandom the low percentage is a lot. But there is this thing being propogated that if it is a toxic fandom it is Army, forgetting that all other fandoms have often earlier got together as antis running hashtags, petitions etc. Even people who are new get to hear of toxic fandom "army" and begin to get wary as we heard in todays video. This makes one think something is amiss. Very sad. Thats why the video from xceleste should be shown to everyone who begins. OR just ignore the fandoms. 😁

I love that you're reacting to Idol. It wasn't my "cup of tea" to begin with, but after watching the explanation video by dkdktv, I gained a whole new appreciation for this song. Love it now. And it's amazing live! When the time comes when you're ready I'd recommend a reaction to their song "Spring Day" (also refered to as the Queen since it was released four years ago and has never left the charts in Korea). I know a lot of people would love for you to react to or even just watch an explanation video, if you want to. It's a cherished song and the mv is one of the most mouth dropping experiences I've had once the content was deciphered (see explanation video by Italian Army or Bulletproof Vibes). I believe you won't regret spending time on this beautiful piece. It's something special. Edit: Thanks for taking the time to react to BTS. New subscriber here. There's different ways to react to BTS. Their mv-content and their lyrics hide a lot of hidden gems, easter eggs, wordplay and Korean sayings/references, so that's where the explanation videos/fan theories come in handy. You said "these are two creative minds" about yourself so I thought you'd love the complexity. Only if you want to, but I found a deep appreciation for their music through understanding the level of complexity in their work. Maybe you'd appreciate it too? Or you can try it out with one song (e.g. Spring Day) and see if it fits your way of doing reaction. All up to you. As Jimin says: "You nice. keep going."

I apologize for the toxic ARMY. Most Armys are good positive people. We are very protective of BTS but we understand that not everyone will like them the same as we do. You really do need to watch some of the videos about the history of BTS and you would understand a lot better why ARMY is so protective and so loyal and in the millions. This video was made towards a lot of the haters they had because they didn't come from one of the big companies in Korea. So they have had to work very hard to get to where they are and they have had to deal with a lot of negativity and hate. They even received death threats. They best videos to watch in my opinion are, "This Is BTS: Introduction pt1", 'The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: Story Of BTS", "Who Is BTS: The Seven Members of Bangtan", and XCeleste "BTS Hardships" and "BTS From Nobodies To Legends". I feel like most ARMYs would prefer you only keep listening if you're enjoying it and want to know more, not if you're just using BTS for "clout" (in fact, I hear a lot of ARMYs complain about people using BTS for clout, so I don't know why so many would tell you to take advantage of their fandom to increase your subscriber count). I find it exciting when reactors stumble upon BTS on their own and take their own journey, not when they just follow the demands of ARMY. Glad you're going to keep doing your thing.

The music video was crazy because the point of the song is about loving yourself and BTS loving themselves not caring about what other people think. So the video was crazy to match the idea of "we can put anything out that we want and we don't care what you have to say about it". The director of the music video told BTS before they watched the music video that the editing was gonna be crazy and almost comedic.

Hey guys I just watched your idol reaction. I thought you might want to know a little bit about the background of the protective fan base that BTS has. The first 4 years they were really tormented because they were not from the big 3 music companies of korea. They couldn't even get on the variety shows that most kpop groups get invited to perform their work. They created their own on line version that proved to be so entertaining. It is still being produced. It is called Run BTS. They were told they didn't deserve the awards they were winning. After 2017 they almost disbanded after death threats at their New York concert. Their fans promoted them when no one in the industry did and BTS knows it. Once you do that deep dive you will understand a little bit about the protective ARMY that supports them. By the way I am a 70 year old grandma who is a card carrying ARMY member. Anyway. That's just a little taste of BTS history. I'll let you find out about the insults from the rapping community that RM and SUGA suffered. Thats what Idol and Mic drop are all about.

BTS has a whole story. They started out with a no name label. Not one of the top 3. They received a lot of hate and criticism from all venues. Other labels, peers and the public. They honestly had to overcome a lot to make it. I feel that some Army are over protective of BTS. I appreciate all music from all genres and I appreciate your honest reactions. Some recommendations: American Hustle life. A reality show bts did in LA when they first started out. Mentored by Coolio and other rap and r&b artists. Xceleste, another you tuber has excellent videos explaining storyline and situations. Rm, leader of the group has collabed with Wale, Warren G and fallout boy. The Rap line, RM, Suga a.k.a. August D, and J-Hope have 4 cyphers. Ddaeng is epic, watch ddaeng explained by a Korean so you can appreciate the genius of it. All of them write songs and produce. Alot of their music speaks about topics that some may find taboo. Especially in Korea. Spring day is about the sewol ferry disaster. The ferry sank and hundreds of students died. The government tried to push it under the rug and BTS wrote this song to commemorate the victims. No is another song that stands up to government and how they look at the younger generation. Alot of their lyrics speak about self love and even depression. Their fans can relate and honestly adore them. True fans only want to spread this wonderful music and love for these 7 amazing humans. Enjoy!

Thanks for the reaction! This MV looks really bright and colorful but is part of BTS’ message of self-love and not being afraid to embrace all aspects of your identify no matter what other people think. There are also Korean cultural references thrown in since that is part of their identify, so I highly recommend that you watch the DKDKTV explanation video as well as a live performance (MMA 2018 idol performance or the performance on Jimmy Fallon a few months ago). BTS has an amazing stage presence so love performances are a must as you dive deeper, but I understand if you want to see more MVs first. I think the songs you have heard so far about their struggles and perseverance and blocking out haters but they have a variety of styles and messages too. Black Swan is about their fear of losing their passion for music, blood sweat and tears is about temptations of youth, No is about the rigid school system in Korea, Baepsae (no music video) is a criticism of the older generation’s perception of youth! BTS especially the three rappers co-wrote and co-produce the majority of their songs so the messages are personal to them. The majority of Army is really cool and loving (embodying the message that BTS tries to spread), but there are always some immature and rude people in every group, or haters also sometimes pretend to be fans to give the group a bad name, as part of fan wars. BTS is my fav group but I do enjoy other artists’ music as well so I think fan wars are pointless but kind of similar to how people fight over sports teams.

Bts has an amazing way of incorporating literature themes throughout songs and albums. They reference Kafka on the shore, into the magic shop, Damien, Carl jungs map of the soul and a lot of others. Its much deeper than the surface appears to be. It's intriguing and draws you into the "rabbit hole". I highly recommend blood sweat and tears! Lyrically I recommend spring day! Love the channel ❤.

Hi I am a 42yr US BTS ARMY of 4yr 💜 I first want to thank you for your time and your effort for doing the reviews of BTS. I hope that you continue your journey with us ARMYs. I will let you know that as you have already have experienced in kpop there are fans and toxic fans. We ARMYs, unfortunately, have toxic ARMYs as well although we do try to teach each other and help each other out so that we learn better values and can live closer to the examples that BTS try to exhibit for the youth. Which is patience, kindness, understanding, friendship, loyalty, and respect. Sorry if you were recipients of behaviors from toxic ARMYs. As Jimin has said "You Nice Keep Going 😉💜" Please do not hold the behaviors of a few against all ARMYs. As you delve into BTS you will find that they have been an "underdog" story from the get go. They had to fight for everything they could and wanted, and sharing a 1room apartment. This contributed to why they are such a close group of brothers now I am sure. They have survived years of haters trying to stop them at every move, including several death threats; all to make them stronger today. The best source for videos about this and other BTS history see XCELESTE. She is a trustworthy RU-vid cite and writer who has followed BTS awhile 💜

She’s pretty much saying she don’t care about how many views if the song is good you listen. I have 2 bias groups UKISS (debut 2008) and VIXX ( debuted 2008) both groups have music I love but not a lot of views VIXX were called the concept kings of kpop Try watching VOODOO DOLL by them

These people are the reason why the general public and media hates us....don't call yourselves army, y'all are cringe and toxic. You guys are doing a great job with these genuine reactions and i personal love how you link yourselves and past stories to the songs you react to, that's exactly what we, as fans of these artists, grew fond of and ended up supporting them. So yeah, keep up the good work!

✨✨✨ I think your whole reaction concept is great and different from others. However I would like to see you react to the not so popular and mainstream songs from time to time. They have a lot of bangers that are not mainstream. It is said in K-pop that there's the main releases but its the B-sides that make or break an artist. Don't ask me where I heard it but it was recent on a kpop introduction video. Anyway, I'll be waiting on ya! 🙂

Please listen to the explanation by a korean of dkdktv. The explanation is very interesting. The edgy feel of some bts songs come from them responding to their haters. Mic drop was the last such song. After that they moved on. BTS is hated because they are outsiders. They did not belong to the rich corporates who had their own groups. They are the underdogs who beat them out of all competition.

Among the Millions of things About bts. What Catch Total newest to bts music is that - -God gifted hooks i fucking don't know how the make so damn good hooks, i mean you are just 5 sec in bts music and you will experience the best hook ever. - the choreography on point and exclusive never before seen shows how creative they are. -BTS also write and create their own music and from 1st album uptil their latest they have done almost 75%+ contribution to albums. - BTS grow their fandom with their pure Talent and dedication and many western big artist personally want bts to Collab with them and this still held the best Collab of the decade Nickie Minaj and bts.💜

So this MV came out after they were starting to explode in the US. There was a lot of criticism from the Western industry the Kpop is too colorful, use too much green screen, have too many members etc and this song addresses all the criticism directly. Hence the crazy visuals! The message: you can say what you want but "YOU CAN'T STOP ME LOVING MYSELF!" They also include a lot of references to traditional Korean culture. The "edginess" you feel from a lot of their songs is them addressing haters. Once you dive into more of their music, you'll see a lot more different styles. Sorry about running into toxic fans, just ignore them cause "haters gonna hate." Unfortunately, the BTS fanbase is so huge that there are more toxic fans. They're not real ARMY, cause that's against the values that BTS and ARMY stand for. Keep going! Love your reactions!

actually guys BTS have hodden storyline and messages for their fans. this songs is a part of their album LOVE YOURSELF ANSWER. where they tell us to love ourselves with all our faults and they embrace being korean pop idols and tell haters to mind their own business as they happy as being a pop idol. their whole album tells a story with each songs being a part of the story line. you need to listen to the whole album to understand a story. they talk about causes - -like dope was telling us to work hard which make us dope and not just partying and enjoying lives can make one cool. -FIRE talked about taking chances and the inportance of youth, failure should be taken as a challenge to improve and not become dissatisfied and give up. - react to MOST BEAUTIFUL LIFE GOES ON : STPRY OF BTS BY ASIAN THEORY to figure out how they came to be and how hard they worked. -to understand their music react to BTS CRASH COURSE 2020 which tells us about the issues they talk about with their music . - also BTS STORYLINE BY XCELESTE

I approach reactors like music shows. They sample all groups and singers. There's no stanning involved. It's their business to take a peek at everything. Higher Faculty keeps noticing the 'edge' to their lyrics. I'm sure they know that it's there for a reason. However, if they truly don't want to know what went on and how BTS were treated, then they will never get the depth of the lyrics of so many of their songs... it's all intertwined. As far as the way many ARMYs are protective of BTS stems from the way they were mistreated before they topped the globe. If you come into BTS now, you'd never know the hell that BTS and their fans went through: other groups' fans trending at the top of social media accusations of plagiarism before BTS's comeback stage is even over; their performances cut from the music shows; black oceans where all fandoms turned off their lightsticks to make it so BTS could not see any audience in front of them; forced to change in the hallway in front of the bathrooms; attacked for not being hiphop because they wear make-up on stage ... you really don't get it. Constant attacks. I'm not saying Higher Faculty has to pick a side, because I look at them like I do a music show. Watching different groups and listening to different music and checking out different videos - it's just their business. They are not stans of any of the groups they've shown us thus far. If I'm wrong, just correct me. I'm pretty new to HF's channel. Peace.

You guys rock and I love that you go all over Kpop world of groups and songs... real Army(BTSfans) will never push back or spread hate towards you, as this is what the boys would not like and its not what their message is. The fandom love and support the boys as they were truly the underdogs and mistreated very badly in their early years, still are now too but they now have global support and the true fans call out any haters and establishments that belittle them. They(Bts)and we true(Army) protect ppl and groups that have the Prejudice of social and society opposing them. Fan wars are just haters trying to suppress each other and using the groups they follow as clout for attention seeking... so humble apologies if you have been treated badly. Love and support what you guys are doing and you've introduced me to new groups too, brilliant, love the music all the more now 💜🇬🇧

I'm a new subscriber and I'm glad that you've found BTS. I'm sorry that in the process, you've also run across some toxic people. There are, unfortunately some VERY toxic people who follow K-Pop artists and a number of them, sadly, committed suicide because of all of the hatred and negativity that they received. Big Hit now takes legal action against the people that threaten or say nasty things to or about BTS. They've had death threats, they've experienced a "Black ocean", where the entire audience turned off their lights, so that instead of seeing their fans, they were faced with sheer black where the audience was. For an industry where every group has their own light stick, so that the audience usually looks like a sea of lights, the black ocean is one of the worst experiences they can have. Poor V/Taehyung was on tour when his beloved grandmother that had raised him for 14 years passed away. He spoke about it during another concert, overcome with tears as he spoke. Afterwards, antis posted horrible things, like he should have gone with her and saying that he was just using her death to get attention. That's when Big Hit decided that they'd had enough and started gathering evidence and prosecuting people. They've had people petition their government to have them disbanded, they were cut from broadcasts, One time, they weren't even allowed to perform until after the show was actually over. They went on stage because of the fans that were there to see them, even though most of the lights were turned off on the stage. They've had people trend mean, nasty things about them, too, but ARMY tries to help. Whenever antis try to get something negative trending, ARMY will trend something positive instead. Theses are just a few of the things that they've been through. True ARMY are very protective of them because of all of this but antis still try to stir up trouble. ARMY doesn't attack other groups, but some groups have fans that don't like BTS receiving awards instead of their group, so they will attack BTS. A lot of BTS songs have messages to their haters, and this is why. Please, keep going with your reactions to whichever groups or songs catch your attention. It's your channel after all. Also, you really need to watch some live performances from BTS. Their lives are even better than their videos. BTS lives for performing in front of ARMY and even have several songs that are basically love songs for ARMY. They're fairly unique in that but the love between BTS and ARMY is very strong. Their music and the messages in their songs have literally saved lives and the support that ARMY has given BTS is what has kept them going throughout all of the hate and hardships that they've had to deal with. We truly are an ARMY but in the best way, when you're dealing with real ARMY. I love your reactions and I'm looking forward to more!
